when accessing websites where Cloudfare is part of the sequence the page hangs on cloudfare and the page is not displayed. Every time data is transferred through cloudfare the page hangs on cloudfare rending the search useless.

I have noted (finally) that Firefox is setting not just Language but units and currency based on the Language.

So, of the choices available - UK English is the nearest in terms of Language and spelling. However it's not my currency and despite being "technically" metric are not.

US English uses a currency that is not mine (but pretends to be), spelling that is not mine and does not even use Imperial units but some Elizabethan hybrid.

Canada manages to take the language from one and the units of the other.

No other Language English XX are offered.

Can I have Australian English - New Zealand or Singapore would be fine.

hello i just opened my pc today and opened fire fox and i saw an update that makes the browser look better and suddnlly i lost all my passwords and i'm log out of my account

When I try to send an email, I get the following response. Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: invalid user ID or password. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again. Have looked in account settings and cannot see a password anywhere. I'm using gmail/outlook/hotmail email addresses on a new win11 laptop with Surfshark VPN and getting email up & running is the last major set up issue. I am having issues with both send & receive emails across all addresses. I get some functionality if I pause the VPN (not ideal!) but not total. I have tried the Surfshark bypass function for Thunderbird but without success.

I have had no issues with this setup for many years on win10.

Using Outlook (one email address) on the web with the Surfshark Chrome extension I can both send & receive.

1. what should the IMAP & SMTP server settings be for gmail/outlook/hotmail? 2. are there any known issues with Thunderbird/Surfshark? 3. are you aware of any issues with gmail/outlook/hotmail blocking Surfsahrk?

I would like a view by Year option in the Thunderbird Calendar. Since Microsoft Calendar tries to launch Outlook and setup a new email address when you try to use just the Calendar it has become not useful to someone who does not use Outlook. You can get the Calendar app to launch into the Calendar on the 4th try but it's inconsistent and a pain. I was trying to check a date/month by displaying the Year view with the 12 small monthly calendars like the Microsoft Calendar has and found you cannot do this. I'd prefer it as a feature rather than a plug-in. Thanks

Subject: Persistent Column and Folder Layout Issues — Not Being Saved Between Sessions

This is a follow-up to my previous support requests regarding two ongoing problems that significantly impact daily usability.

Column Settings I manage multiple accounts, and my preferred column layout is: Starred, Read Status, Attachment, Subject, From, and Date/Time. I do not use Threads, Correspondents, or Spam Status columns. Despite setting these preferences repeatedly, Thunderbird fails to retain them. Every day I must spend time reconfiguring columns across some or all of my accounts — the state varies unpredictably from one session to the next. This is a persistent, daily frustration that costs meaningful time. Most other major email clients save and reliably maintain column preferences. I'd expect Thunderbird to do the same.

Folder Panel Layout Two problems occur regularly when Thunderbird loads:

Folder order — Standard system folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, All Mail, Trash, Spam) should appear at the top of each account. Instead, Sent, All Mail, Trash, and/or Spam are frequently scattered among custom folders, with no apparent consistency.

Folder expansion — Most or all folders load in an expanded state, exposing every nested sub-folder regardless of whether they contain unread mail. This creates unnecessary visual clutter and requires manual collapsing each session.

Again, this behavior is uncommon in other widely-used email clients. Summary These are not one-time glitches — they recur daily and represent a significant usability gap. I'd appreciate confirmation that these are known issues being tracked, or guidance on a reliable fix. Reformatting the interface every morning is not a reasonable expectation for users.

When I get spam email in my inbox, I mark it as SPAM. It will arrive again in a couple of days. Why does it come into my in-box still? Its marked as SPAM in my In-BOX!

I don't want to keep touching junk email!!! its a huge waste of time. I cannot find the settings on how to make that action happen.

Please advise. If this isnt possible I will unfortunately be leaving your platform after decades of use. Yes I have donated several times over the years. Not get rich money, but it all helps.

Autoplay (of video SOUND) is always set to OFF except in a few cases where it is set to ALWAYS ASK FIRST. Facebook reels often ignore this setting. How can I stop it. The same phone setting on my Galaxy phone covers both AUDIO and INCOMING PHONE CALLS (ringing). If I mute my phone I cannot hear it ring. If I don't Facbook blasts the entire room ... when it was never supposed to to do via the settings.

I KEEP CHOSING "ORGINAL ACCOUNT". IT KEEPS PROMPTING ME TO ""SIGN IN"". BUT IT DOESN'T GIVE ME ANY PLACE TO SIGN IN AT. THE BROWSER IS DEAD. I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE PROBLEM FOR HOURS. MAYBE IT IS A PERMISSION, A STARTUP SETTING, THIS LAPTOP, WINDOWS 11 OR A COMBINATION OF ALL THESE THINGS. I DOWNLOADED "BRAVE" BROWSER AND IT WORKS FINE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I've been a Thunderbird user for years without problem. However, since May 22, three specific messages continually reappear after deleting them from my Inbox.

I keep my Inbox empty and it stays that way, except for these 3 messages. Removing them from the Trash folder has not solved the problem.

My email provider is netaddress.com via POP3 account. I signed on to look at my inbox on their site via a browser, and the messages aren't there.

I have tried repairing and compacting the inbox, but the messages continue t reappear.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Using Thunderbird with Spectrum email (an old roadrunner address). Changed the outgoing server to the following: Server Name: mobile.charter.net Port: 587 Username: Reefside@cfl.rr.com Authentication: Normal Password Connection Security: SSL/TLS Testing connection fails. I have tried different combinations and once in a while I get that the connection is successful, but email sending hangs and never completes.

So whenever I click on new tabs, it always leads to a redirect notice asking me to confirm if I want to open those tabs.

I want it so that I don't get these notices, but the links I click on just open automatically. I have tried the following settings in about:config based on a few threads online:

accessibility.blockautorefresh

network.http.redirection-limit

A few other settings to that I have turned on and off but no difference.

A lot of the websites are also confusing because they seem to want to turn redirects ON rather than off, so potentially I am struggling to follow the correct information.

Any help appreciated.

Beginning today, I suddenly cannot access numerous websites when I use Mozilla Firefox 151.0.2. Examples include Amazon, and Google, et al. Attempts to do so consistently fail at the point of performing a TLS handshake, when I am advised that "secure connection failed". Kindly refer to the attached screenshots. I have no difficulty whatsoever accessing the same websites when I use other browsers, such as Google Chrome and MS Edge. I previously had Mozilla Firefox enabled as my default browser, but I have had to change this, given these "challenges". Please advise how I can fix this. Best regards and many thanks.

Issue:

• Firefox suddenly is unable to connect to any wesbite
• All attempts to browse result in the "Secure Connection Failed" screen
• All other browsers function fine with no network connectivity issues

Attempted Fixes / Things Confirmed:

• Everything mentioned in: Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can

• Relevant about:config values:

* * security.enterprise_roots.enabled -> True

• * security.ssl.enable_ocsp_must_staple -> True
• * security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling -> True
• * security.tls.version.max -> 4
• * security.tls.version.min -> 3

• System locale and timezone are correct
• DNS over HTTPS is set to OFF
• HTTPS-Only Mode is set to Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode
• Restarting in Troubleshooting Mode
• Disabling the Anti-Virus (including the device Firewall)
• Disabling any VPNs or network proxies
• Clearing cache and browsing history
• Clearing certificates from the Certificate Manager in Settings
• Attempting connection with a newly created profile
• Clearing the cert9.db file for Firefox to reset certificate information
• Refreshing Firefox (resetting it completely)
• Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox (after clearing all Mozilla related %appdata% folders)

Observations

• When trying to mess with the device timezone and see if changing it back to the correct one would "reset" something, after a few attempts of starting Firefox in the wrong timezone and then restarting it after changing to the correct one, for a single session, I was able to browse normally again. I closed Firefox to see if the problem was fixed but it went back to the "Secure Connection Failed" page. Was unable to reproduce the same behavior.

• Tried installing a portable version of Firefox (151.0.3) from Firefox Portable .

After installation, the first session works perfectly fine but after I close the session and restart Firefox, it gives the same "Secure Connection Failed" message.

• * Reinstalling the portable version in the folder, gives the error from the get-go, not even the initial post-installation session works but installing in a different folder works fine for the first session but all subsequent restarts (sessions) of the browser give the same error.
