I just set up a Gmail account and transferred all my files from Outlook to my new Thunderbird Gmail. I haven't told anyone about it yet and don't like the name I used. I would like to change the name or set up another account that forwards all emails to the one I just set up before I notify every one of the changes. Thanks for your help and keep it simple; I'm not tech Savey. i.e. -abc@gmail .com to xyz@gmail.com

Hello,

I would like to create Managed Bookmarks for our company and distribute them via Group Policy. However, I am unable to create subfolders for these Managed Bookmarks, so they would all be in one folder and quite disorganized, which is why I need subfolders. Can I map this using a JSON file, and if so, could someone assist me with the structure of the JSON file?

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards

I'm facing a strange issue with my Thunderbird 128.5.2esr. Every time I start it, it asks for a password to an account that's not one of the accounts I added. I usually close or manually change it to my corporate account, but that's becoming annoying. I would appreciate any help to fix that.

My key/main email account in Thunderbird cannot be accessed using the passwords that I have and know they worked two weeks ago - since Rogers messed things up. The Thunderbird system keeps asking for the password, of which I have no clue.

My company uses Google for our email accounts with our own domain. Last year they forced everyone to stop using non-Gmail apps on mobile devices for security and as a side effect of that, they turned off IMAP access which was never mentioned in the change. I assume they did this for our entire domain in Google. I asked for this to be re-enabled and provided some arguments for how using a mail client like Thunderbird was superior and much more efficient than webmail (ugh). As with any large organization, they refused

While opening and updating Thunderbird this week to see if there is something new I was able to do a web-login to my work account and that worked. This sets up the security to a 3rd party app in the Google account but not sure how this is used. I can still not connect via IMAP and only IMAP/POP are options in Thunderbird still. The question I had is there another option for Thunderbird to somehow use a web-based connection perhaps as a proxy via webmail to allow access from Thunderbird? Also what is the 3rd party security connection in the Google account with Thunderbird used for since it is still only showing IMAP/POP connection methods?

Thanks, Greg

Hi there, on Monday on 3:43 and 4:41 o clock I got two emails reading „Your Mozilla account was used to sign in“. I didnt Login by myself at this Point, also was not using Firefox for some time.

The E-Mails seemed legit, but I went directly to the Mozilla Website by Browser without clicking links in the emails.

In the recent activity the Login attempts were visible. There were no unknown devices connected.

At 8:54 I changed my Password and activated 2FA.

Can you tell if someone truly accessed my account? Or did the person just try?

Thanks, Daniel

Hi,

When I got up this morning, I receved an email that a new device was logged in to my firefox account before an hour or so.

All my passwords are synced to firefox account. I am afraid and want to know what all information is stolen. I immediately removed old devices from accounts page under connected services. However, I see peculiar - 'unknown' device which I can not sign out.
