Hi there. I'm looking for a shortcut that takes me from the folderlist pane to the message pane and the first new message, when I'm on the inbox folder. The tab is not good. It moves between to many fields/options.

All of a sudden, i can not log on to my email accounts. I get a "failed" message for all 3 accounts. I get this message. Login to server mail.westpeake.com with username redacted@westpeake.com failed. Brian West www.westpeake.com

I have trouble with the lack of clear outlines in Thunderbird.

In particular:

1. the lack of a line between the message header and the message body makes it harder to find the right spot to scroll messages

2. the lack of a line between the nav-sidebar and each section in settings means I *cannot* scroll settings without getting migraines from the @#$%% nav-sidebar. I have to tab several times and then page down.

I can't enable a high-contrast theme within Thunderbird. I can enable it at system level, but it breaks many other apps, and it breaks my cursor and highlight color settings, and I have to recreate those settings each time.

I can search for "contrast," or "outline," under themes, for example: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/search/?q=outline&cat=themes&appver=148.0&platform=WINNT

I can't tell which themes are supposed to fix what; I tried 4 of the resulting themes, some added other outlines, but none added the needed outlines I listed above.

Thunderbird for Android: When sending a message, the copy moved to the Sent folder is not marked as "read" after moving. Messages sent from the Android client and subsequently auto-filed into "Sent" or "Sent Mail" are still marked as "unread" after the move. They should be marked as "read" as part of the move, just like with the Windows client. I've searched the various Settings and I can't find any related setting.

I didn't see anything better in choices when setting topic in the "Which topic best describes your question?" related to the site having both English and Spanish mixed together. See attached images. To fix this I log out - delete the login cookies and cache, close browser, revisit Thunderbird site.

Using Thunderbird, when updated to version 148 (64 bit) the highlighted color is dark and does not contrast to the text color (black) so it is hard to read. How to change the color? or the color of the text?

I just wonder if it’s the right version because sometimes your phone will download the wrong version. It’s outdated version and you don’t really know so if this is possible, I would really wanna make sure I have the right version for iPhone and I use default for Firefox sometimes it works very well and sometimes it doesn’t make it move to imagery and colors in the pictures of like the award that you go in when you go to tycoon so that’s why I’m not asking you shouldn’t be that way.

Due to my ‘thing’ about internet security, I will not use google at any price!

Can you direct me to where I might get the app elsewhere, please?

The connection is that i clicked on what i would call an investment solicitation from an Outlook email i received from Eunice.io

There are a few clickable hot-links in my email that return same error code. Most of the keyboard shortcuts are not working. Copy-paste works, but others for example, Ctrl + F doesn't work. Very confusing and frustrating. Attached is the screenshot of Browser Console and it does show missing attributes. Not sure if this is a browser issue (currently using 147.0.3 (64-bit)) or I need to make certain change settings. I would appreciate any suggestions to resolve this issue.

I just got thunderbird and I'm so grateful to the ones who have immediately answered my questions. Now I'm trying to transfer my email of thunderbird from my pc to my cell phone. I keep trying to take picture of the QR code and it won't take it. I tried with my regular camera and it took it fine. Can you help me? Thank you for your time and knowledge.

I have been moving slowly from other email clients to Thunderbird. I've been using Thunderbird in Windows for a while now, and decided recently to switch on Android from BlueMail to Thunderbird for Android.

In Thunderbird for Windows, I am able to use unified folders for all common folders (Spam, Sent, Trash, etc.). On Thunderbird for Android, however, only the Inbox is presented as a unified folder. I have discovered that this limitation is really problematic for me for two reasons.

First, if I am in the unified Inbox and accidentally delete a message, I have to check several different Trash folders to find the lost message, selecting each account and then that account's Trash. I anticipate responses asking why or how I could delete a message and not know what it was. With the avalanche of incoming mail the days, I often would use swipe to delete on the unified Inbox for items that are clearly not important-- but occasionally, a real message appears on the face to be junk and isn't. This is a real hassle, and forced me to turn off the swipe to delete a message interaction altogether, because it was too easy to lose messages.

Second, I have several different email addresses, and several different email providers, each of whom applies spam and trash rules differently. Two in particular frequently divert legitimate email into Spam, and I had been in the habit of scanning Spam for errant valid messages from these two providers. Being able to do this for all Spam in one location made this process much simpler.

Can anyone tell me:

• whether there is some underlying reason for this different behavior on Android,
• whether there are plans to implement such a change, or
• whether there are alternatives (like BetterBird, which does not have an Android port) that I could use?

I have been using Firefox with Dragon Naturally Speaking Professional 16.1 since 2022. Never had a problem with dictating into any boxes or search bars before today. Now I cannot dictate into those and I need to. I am a quadriplegic and ventilator dependent and need to use Firefox and be able to dictate into it. Can someone tell me what to do to get that to work again?
