I used to read my MSN email via Thunderbird. Then one day it told me I had to provide the MSN password to connect. I discovered that I couldn't connect to MSN at all. Had to create a new password for Microsoft, and I know what that is but then they have you do a second thing for the MSN email, and I connect to that but can't see what the password is. How do I find my MSN email password so I can give it to Thunderbird? I've tried various methods, but no luck. Thanks for any help you can provide.

After years of accessing www.youtube.com with Firefox with no problem, the website is no longer accessible as of yesterday. When I point my browser to that URL, I get a screen with greyed out video previews, greyed out titles, greyed out account access and a search window that does not do anything. I can access YouTube just fine with Safari. I've cleared my cache. Please advise.

Since about one year I am unable to use Japanese input only in Firefox. When I try to switch with fcitx and control+space, nothing happens. However, fcitx-mocz works everywhere else on my computer (i.e. terminal, thunderbird, other browsers, etc.). Furthermore, I uninstalled fcitx and everything associated with it and reinstalled it according to this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1367181 (just with mocz for Japanese). This also didn't change anything. Any help is appreciated! Hello. In our company, every employee has an IMAP account, but over time the IMAP profile takes up too much space on the hard drive (100-200GB per user...). What can we do to have more storage space? Can we delete the file? Or will all emails also be deleted from the server?

Thunderbird will no longer save sent emails to my SENT folder. I get an error message when I send an e-mail saying, "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in our sent folder(Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent-using my email address. Cox Communications is my ISP and they say the problem is not theirs.

when I click on the firefox icon to load it takes me to my home page, but within 20-30 seconds it loads firefox again. it is very frustrating when I.m starting something and firefox loads again taking me back to home page. I have to go down to the bottom and click off the second firefox. I don't know how or why this started. Thanks for any help.

I use Outlook.live.com Hotmail and recently a PopUp Message appears asking me to:

Add outlook.live.com as an application for mailto links.

Microsoft Customer Service said it was not something they initiated and likely a Firefox issue.

It does not seem safe to click on a random link like this without any explanation. Each time I log in, the same message appears.

Could someone please explain what this is for and how I can stop it from popping up each time I log into Hotmail?

I want to support Mozilla but have no need for the complexity of Thunderbird. I find navigating the huge number of options hugely timewasting, eg I inadvertently remove some headers but can find no way of undoing this. Is there a cut down, simplified version I can use?

Everything is gone….bookmarks, passwords, history on my desktop computer and I have no idea why. I opened Firefox and the home page was different and then noticed nothing was the same. I dl Firefox again, no help, same result. I do have my desktop synced to my iPad and laptop but I’m concerned they will import from the desktop and get wiped out. Is there a way to sync from the laptop to the desktop? I am at a complete loss on how to fix this. I do run a backup on this computer. Would that help? Restore point?

when I entered this string - chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul - I got a 'file not found' message. Is there another way to access that? I am trying to get to https//mlb.tickets.com and get this message: The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

Today I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Since doing this, the taskbar icon is not the same as it has always been.

It used to be that if I pinned Firefox to the taskbar, I would click on it and the default Firefox window would open. When the mouse was right-clicked, the icon showed there was a choice of the default Firefox window and an option for a privacy window I could choose. I did that frequently.

Now if I pin Firefox to the taskbar there is no privacy window option. If I pin the private browser to the taskbar, this becomes the default window with options for the non-private default browser available with a right mouse click.

I would like to know how to pin the default Firefox window to the taskbar and have the private window option show up when that icon is clicked please.

I recently archived locally about 10 years worth of emails successfully (the emails were removed from the my ISP's servers and I opted for a yearly format). I can easily find these in Thunderbird but of course they are not on the mail server anymore.

Settings info: I have Message Archives set to "Archives on Local Folder" followed by my email address (I set it up with this name so that I can find the archives specifically for backup by my Sinology server).

However, my Sent folder (shows a paper airplane icon) is missing, although I also downloaded it and thought it would be saving locally.

When I verified my Archive options in TB, I noticed that while I had selected "Yearly archived folders" I did not select "Keep existing folder structure of archived messages". I assume that this is a mistake on my part?

My questions are: Q1. Where are my Sent emails - would they be mixed in with received messages in each yearly archive? Q2. How do I access these sent emails within the TB search window?

Some webpages, that I must log in to, are coming up blank, when I attempt to login. No error, just blank white page. Two examples are paypal and textfree. I have cleared everything I can think of or find on the internet. I have refreshed and restarted several times. This has all started int he last few weeks. The two sites mentioned are ones I really need access to. I am not sure if it is my machine or the browser.

I changed my Xfinity password on Xfinity website. Now I get error message on Thunderbird.saying my imap password is wrong. How can I change my imap and outgoing email passwords to match xfinity password.

A: All these problems started after the new email version was installed, in-other-words, when the old version was updated! B: All of my email that was in my account / on my computer seem to be be there as far as I can tell. I can get to them, I can open them and see their contents. C: All is ok up til this point...as mentioned above and no new email has arrived. D: Now, as soon as I click on the "Get Messages" (Icon, looks like a cloud) in the upper left corner, is when I the Yahoo page of some sort pops on the screen, that's it. No mail arrives and I'm stuck with the Yahoo page covering most of the screen. E: I can click click around and try entering my email address but when I click on F: I see that images can be attached, and hope it works. My screen are,1920 x 1080, so I'll try and reduce the size of the images when I attach them. G: (Image A) After I inter my email address the red wording pops up.

it becomes vicious circle and normally going back to the first page. (Note: A image) [about:blank] ??? Other pages have an address??? H. In these 4 days I have changed, added, deleted, used my Mozilla Reset Key, and this morning, per Mozilla's - Thunderbird's request, created another Reset key. Still no email. I do believe If this Yahoo thing was gone my email might start, just a guess now. H. Will all of the email that has not arrive still be available?? I. Almost forgot to mention. With a simple mis-keystroke I deleted ALL but 1 email in my inbox... Oddly though this contained years on emails it only took a few seconds?!

So I immediately went into the profile in the roaming folder for windows 10 and searched for a backed up copy of the inbox... assuming that Thunderbird would do such a thing as I have seen in other email clients.

I found nothing like that. I searched everywhere I could think of for some old inbox file that would contain the emails or at least most of them... NOTHING. I just have never seen a client that didn't make routine backups of the data files.

Am I missing something? Is there a file somewhere?

I can see that the webOtp API is not supporting by the Firefox browser on mobile android devices. Where as the other browser are supporting it like Chrome, Opera,etc

Could you please let us know, why it is not supporting? Do we have any alternative for the same? When it will start to support it, etc
