I Cannot restore 3/1 or 2/29 Bookmarks!!! What's going on with Firefox??? Now, all there is in my Bookmarks are five listings saying, " BS2trash folder for undo of bookmark deletes- DO NOT REMOVE ..."

I wouldn't have to do this except that somehow, a Bookmark folder disappeared. All too often is has occurred. I have many, many very important Bookmarks. How can I get them back---and soon?

Met het ene adres heb ik geen probleem, met het andere krijg ik steeds de melding "Authentificatiefout tijdens het verbinden met server imap.gmail.com". I started using firefox actively a year back or something like that, last couple of months it started driving me nuts as it started updating every time I launch it, which is very annoying even if it takes only 10 15 seconds, I sometimes need to check something really quick and I have to wait for it to finish installing an update, even though I checked the setting for it to do so in the background, it seems to only do it after I launch it disrupting my workflow, which made me switch back to Chrome temporarily, is there a way to fix this?

My option for night mode to invert the colors for websites has suddenly disappeared from the menu. If I go to settings I can turn on dark mode but it does not work for a lot of websites. How can I get night mode back?

bold text4 or 5 years ago i simply synced TB and Firefox straight to my laptop from my desktop. Today it does not seem to work that way. Why has it gotten more complicated? I have all of my emails, address's and etc.saved profile and cannot seem to replace it. I tried the thunderbird.exe -p and it gets confusing there. Apparently it does not give one the option to replace profile like mine, but one can create one. I tried creating by entering my old Profile and it did not work. It says to use the Browse button which should bring you to the actual spot to add your profile. I do not see a 'Browser" button, but do see 2 separate folders buttons, but i do not know which to choose, if any. I have donated in the past when things were working smoothly, but discourged to add to it now with all these upgrade mess's. Like they say, "if it ain't broken, leave it alone..." s amd

when I try to click drop down menus on rpg mo, like settings/game options or anything in the gear drop down menu it wont let me click. I can't play rpg mo is there a reason for this like is it not html they are using but it works on windows? I am using suse linux leap.

Got up this morning and FF said all my tabs were crashed - GAH! Could not open ANY new tabs, not even a blank tab, without getting this message. Clicking on restore tabs did nothing. Closing & opening FF did nothing. Cleared startup cache & uninstalled ublock origin (the only extension I had) but that did nothing. Refresh firefox did nothing (except lose some of my preferences). Went to about:crashes and all it says is "No crash reports have been submitted." Every other suggestion I found online was beyond my comprehension. FF DOES work in troubleshooting mode only, but I lose some important functions in that mode. I've been using FF almost since it was born and have NEVER encountered a problem like this before. I hope someone can help!

Start new Windows session. Start Thunderbird and works OK. Shut Thunderbird down and try to re-start during same Windows session and it will not launch. Reboot Windows and try to start Thunderbird and works OK. Alternatively, going into Task Manager there will be a number of Thunderbird processes running. If I manually end them all (while Thunderbird is NOT active) then I can restart as normal too. This all began with 124.0 Beta 1. Never had the issue prior.

Also, Thunderbird crashes if restarting within the app. By this I mean clicking the X it appears to close (excepting those persistent processes running) but "Restart Thunderbird" such as to launch Troubleshooting mode or from the "Restart to update Thunderbird" config crashes the app with 100% consistency.

I am a longtime Thunderbird user, currently running 115.6.0 (32-bit). Very recently Windows Defender is detecting malware it identifies as Trojan:HTML/Phish!pz. Defender is unable to quarantine or eliminate the threat.

The specific file is appearing in Volume Shadow Copy data when I am running backup: file: \Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy55\Users\fhanz\AppData\Local\Thunderbird\Profiles\sootdszw.default-release\cache2\entries\342F92977A0BA0715CB8880A9289BC8F8827262C

I've attempted several times to remove the offending file(s), but the problem returns.

What is the best method to determine the source of this malware and effectively eliminate it returning?

If it matters, I use Chrome as my default browser.

For the past few days, when I try to log on to PlayStation on Firefox, the sign-in page sits on a loading swirl after inputting email. There's a clear memory leak shown on Task Manager. The menu bar's right-click doesn't draw properly. FF can't be closed and needs to be terminated. The only extension I have is uBlock Origin disabled for this site.

This website works on Edge.

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. I have been a Firefox user for most of my time on a computer and that's a lot of years. A regular site I visit is Townhall.com. A few months ago I could no longer play videos because the link (video screen) would not appear. The text below where the screen should have been appears. I worked with Townhall on this and we could not solve it. Interesting was that periodically the link would appear but now doesn't appear at all. So I am forced to use MS Edge for Townhall videos.

Then it happened on another site I frequent - RacerX.com. When I try to play a video I get a blank screen with the message: "Unfortunately your Targeted Advertising privacy settings prevent us from showing you this YouTube Video. Please update your consent to see this content." I cannot find anything in settings which should cause this. I changed nothing. Settings are the same as they've been for years. So now for RacerX videos I have to use MS Edge.

I would prefer to continue to use Firefox as my browser but switching back and forth is not productive. As much as I do not want to make MS Edge my default browser it looks like I will have no choice unless you can help me solve this issue.

My email is not receiving and cannot send emails. A message shows up saying that the server has been disconnected. How can someone who has no computer expertise fix this problem. My business emails come to this email. Should we get rid of it completely? We Need Help Fast. I've been posting messages but nobody has responded yet. Im not very familiar with this system and we Need Help ASAP! Please Help!!!
