I just got the new Google Nexus 4 and have been running Firefox mobile as my primary browser but I have recently discovered a problem. When I download a file (such as a PDF) off of a site to read with Android's quickoffice, no file goes into Android's downloads app. I assumed the file was only bring temporarily bring downloaded for a one time view but when I tried this same process with Chrome mobile, a file was put in the downloads app. I installed a third party for browser for my phone and looked in the downloads folder it showed for my phone and discovered the files I had been downloading with Firefox in it. It seems Firefox doesn't display files downloaded in the downloads app provided with Android which is a problem because that means without a third party for browser, you can't get rid of them. (Petty for sizes but they would eventually fill your phones storage). Is a downloads folder provided with Firefox? Can the downloads be viewed in the stock downloads app?

Windows 8.1

I just upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and can't get Firefox to work. it loads but won't open a we-site. Any ideas????? Please????? Thanks

How do I change download location fron phone memory to external SDCard?

I dont want downloads to save on device memory because it is small (1.5 Gb) compared to external SDCard (32 Gb). Firefox does not give any option to change location of do… (funda kabanzi)

Get rid "Recommended by Pocket"?

On my android phone, Firefox updated. Now under top sites, there is a section called "Recommended by Pocket". How do I take this off/disable it? It is really bothering me… (funda kabanzi)

An https site I have been using for years suddenly is no longer accessible "because the authenticity of the received data could no longer be verified."

It works on Furefox on Windows7 Pro and on Internet Explorer but not on Windows 7 Home Edition, and not on my Android phone. Any ideas how to work around thus?

I have downloaded several types of audio files on my android, and they play rightaway, but they are not able to be found anywhere in the phone after I STOP the playback.

This happens with any file, how can I locate the file once downloaded, or how can I change settings to have the file to download to my SD Card instead?
