I am on endeavourOS (linux). Whenever I try to upload images for a profile picture to sites like youtube or X, the image becomes corrupted and doesn't upload correctly. It did this with whatsapp too and I had to use a separate app for it. Other posts said that disabling "privacy.resistFingerprinting" would fix it, but it's already disabled.

I am trying to add a password to the password manager for a specific URL like https://example.com/page. However after I save the password it save it to the address https://example.com and removes /page. Is there a way to change this?

This is an incredibly bad user experience and to my knowledge illegal in the EU.

I look at porn on my Android phone. I use Private Browsing to do so. Why are my Private Browsing addresses appearing as Firefox Suggest results that appear outside of Private Browsing as well? And why does Pornhub show me a personalized home page when I'm using Private Browsing? None of these pages are in my browser history because I've only accessed them via Private Browsing. But these "features" sort of defeat the purpose of it don't you think?

I've just switched from Chrome to Firefox and never had this issue with Chrome.

Malwarebytes keeps blocking Mozilla files that seem to originate from it's folder in my laptop as riskware. Is this something I should make exceptions for? Or is it riskware. I'm running Win 11

I come, trying to manage my disappointment and anger, to say only one thing: I love Firefox, it (still) has the best UX of any modern browser. And part of that is that it has NO AI malware built into it. The recent statements from the CEO regarding the implementation of AI into the browser is extremely disappointing, to the point of it feeling like a personal betrayal, and will only make me (and a lot of other people) just completely abandon it. And don't kid yourselves, your user base never was so low, and that user base only like this browser specifically because it has no malware built into it, because of the privacy and open nature you had before this debacle. You're shooting yourselves on booth feet and an arm with a shotgun. I don't trust you as a company anymore at all; you just achieved the complete opposite of what you said you wanted. If you just made use of reverse psychology and was that's your actual goal, congrats. This company quite literally couldn't have elected a worse person to be chief executive.

When will Gecko-based Firefox Android increase the number of default search engines in 2025?

Currently it hosts only Big Tech namely Google and Microsoft Bing and DuckDuckGo, which is Bing and MSN results in DuckDuckGo and Qwant (same Bing results) latter which works only in the UK.

I'm using Gecko-based browsers like Fenix and Mull and Iceraven, and they all come with like 5 to 10 search engine options.

Adding new search engines is a mess and doesn't sync with Firefox account settings, so futile efforts.

Even Chrome allows us to select our search engine, if we are visiting it too much.

Is Firefox really privacy based browser or just Big Tech in Firefox like Google as default search engine out of the box, no asking which the XYZ user wants?

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? NOT to remove personal data? Does it give you an option for personal date not to be removed?? what about all the stored password? Can one of you tell me why all of sudden I get this error COULDN'T LOAD XPCOM? can you send me a link where to reinstall new version on top of the one I have running now Thanks

When using Firefox (latest) and attempting to login into a website I get an error (see attached image) generated by the host's server's firewall. It appears it thinks I'm a bot. When I use Firefox's privacy mode I don't get this error. I would prefer not to use privacy mode. I contacted the administrator of the website I'm attempting to access and he couldn't offer any help.

When I use Google Chrome browser I don't encounter the above problem. This leads me to believe it's not an issue with my Avast Anti-Tracking and Antivirus settings.

Any help would be appreciated.
