I just updated Firefox to version 135.0 on my mobile and now I get this really annoying thing:

Everytime I open a tab to go on the YouTube website, it asks me if I want to leave Firefox and use the YouTube app. Every single time. And it even launched it once without asking me.

I don't want to use the YouTube app, how can I make this stop?

I hope to add the feature of opening local HTML files to Firefox Android version. Firefox used to support this feature in the past, but it was removed after the release of Firefox Daylight, which was restructured. Firefox supports opening PDF files, but it does not support opening HTML files, although opening HTML files is closer to the browser's function than opening PDF files.

Hi, my firefox appears to be missing its navigation/toolbar. I only have a single bottom bar for the address bar, home, tab and the three dots. I would like to have the back, forward button, bookmarks to be pinned on the toolbar area. I try to use the Secret Setting but it does not have the option to enable toolbar. I have included two screenshots, the orange circle depicting my current situation. I would like to have something similar to the toolbar (Samsung Internet Browser) in the other screenshot with teal circle.

From version 110 and up, there are websites where the autofill no longer works. The option to select your saved users & PWs comes up but upon selecting one, nothing gets filled. On other websites the autofill works as intended. Going to the real debrid website is the one I can accurately reproduce the issues on. With version 109 and below, the autofill works. Is there a proper work around besides having to go into the settings, finding out the password and inputting it manually?

When I am finished with a tab and close it, and then close down Firefox app, when I click back into Firefox the tabs that I have closed are still there open. How can I stop this from happening without having to "quit" and clear cache etc all the time? Surely when you close a tab it should stay closed?

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. Recent update causes all pdf links to be opened in Firefox on Android with no option to download, and no setting to choose a default behavior. They're was another person who asked a similar question and was told to use the "Share" option and then "Save as PDF" - this doesn't work. Another advise given was long-pressing on the PDF link and choosing to save target - it won't work when I am pasting the pdf link into the address bar, which is how I do it primarily. I'm stuck using the Open in External App, which opens the pdf in Google drive, then having the option of saving the file. So many unnecessary steps. Please fix.

Starting about a week ago, every time I try to download a PDF file, it opens in a new tab instead of actually downloading. I have to copy the link and paste it into the Google Chrome app to make it download properly. How do I fix this?

I am experiencing a problem with one specific website, zerohedge.com. Whenever I use the back button to return from an article to the home page, the page appears completely blank, and I am forced to refresh it every time. This is happening on the Android version of Firefox, version 111.1.1 (Build #2015941331) with NoScript and PrivacyBadger add-ons installed.

I have not made any changes to the settings, and this problem has only started occurring about a week ago. I have never observed this behavior before.

Firefox seems to be unable to start in widowed or split screen mode on Huawei P40, EMUI 12. On EMUI 12, apps that support widowed mode are marked with a "window" button in the "recent apps" view. You can see in on screenshot in a yellow circle for Facebook app, but it is absent for Firefox. When I try switching to split screen mode, it shows a message, that Firefox is unable to be run in this mode (sorry, the message is in Japanese). Even if I try using an app Split Screen Shortcut, that seems to have it's own split screen function, separate from the EMUI one, Firefox still launches in fullscreen, and the Shortcut app returns an error.

The thing is, I tried Firefox on Samsung Galaxy A04s (presumably, Android 12?..), and it works without any problems.

It's it a bug and Firefox should support split screen and windowed mode, but doesn't, or does the app lack this support, but Samsung A04s's system just forces it to open in that mode itself?

If it's a bug, I would really appreciate it if you could fix it. This is literally the only downside (for me) this app has.

Currently using Firefox Nightly version 111.0a1 for Android now when trying to open a link in another app it always shows a popup to confirm.

This was not present in previous releases and I don't know if there is a way to prevent this popup as it makes it uncomfortable. Is there an option I may be missing to disable this feature? If not, could an option like this be introduced?

I have an issue when I try to set Firefox as my default browser on Huawei P20 lite (EMUI 9.1) device.

When I go to the app Settings--> Set as default browser option, I'm not getting the default apps page (screenshot 3). Instead, a premission settings page (screenshot 1) is popping up, and the button on Settings--> Set as default browser, is still grey (screenshot 2).

Earlier today, I've installed Firefox Focus browser, and when I tried to set it as my default browser, everything worked as it should, and the page of defaults apps opened up (screenshot 3).

I'll be very happy to know if this is a bug related to my device, or it happens with other devices.

I installed the "Google" app and the "Firefox" app. When I used the "Google" app to search for images, I found that I couldn't open the searched websites. I tried to use the Samsung browser or Chrome browser and did not have this problem. Well, I scan the qr code, I login in the Website, it sends me to the account settings, and then nothing. Still not logged in to Firefox. Im using graphene OS, maybe it's some permission issue?

Following instructions on sync my Anroid phone with another device. There is no "sync and save your data" menu option.
