So, I've been thinking about downloading the Firefox browser for Android but I am worried.

I saw this among the app permissions on Google Play Store: "download files without notification". And I am worried.

And I need to know:

- What files does Firefox download without notification?

- Why does Firefox download files without notification?

- When does Firefox download files without notification?

- Why and how should I trust an app to the have the ability to download anything it desires at anytime it desires without my knowledge or my choice to accept or decline?

Could you please help me and tell how this app is safe?

Hi, let me describe my problem:

I enabled pull to refresh gesture function and until recently it worked great. But I noticed odd behavior recently: To activate pull to refresh, one should "pull from top", right? But if I just drag from middle to top to just scroll through website, it refreshes as if I pull from top.

This happens only when I moved to new pages. For example, I clicked a post in reddit to open that post >> the post opens, I try to scroll the page to see post comments >> and boom the page refreshes. After that this won't happen in the same page.

I hope to find solution and currently disabled pull to refresh.

My phone has died and I have Miles of history data collections very important that is that I want to be able to access on my new phone I have downloaded Firefox and it will not bring anything at all across even though it's recognized my sign in my email my photo

I much prefer how google search looks on other browsers like opera and chrome (obviously), so I was wondering if there was a way to make it look like this on firefox. I have attached two images, the first is from Firefox and the second is from opera.

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. Few days ago I downloaded something, but canceled it from the notification. Now a notification with the headline "Downloads" and the file name below keeps popping up every half an hour or so, when Firfox is closed or in the background. I can't click on it and restart it.

This example should be straightforward, as you can see the title bar on the bottom has a dark blue color from the source app (Tusky) while the navigation bar is white. On Tusky the navigation bar is the same dark blue as the title bar.

I'm not sure if Android allows getting the color of the source app's navigation bar, but anything could be better than a pure white one especially when the title bar is put on the bottom. I suggest Firefox to use either 1. Same color as the title bar 2. A slightly darker version of title bar color.

I have Firefox installed on my windows 11 laptop and also my android pixel 8 pro. I want to sync the two devices so of I make changes on one it reflects on the other automatically. Can I do this?

My Android Firefox app suddenly changed the language for the menus. I now can't read the settings options. Can you describe how to change the menu back to English?
