Gmail will suddenly not open in Firefox with error saying there's a problem with my cookie settings--i did not change settings and cannot find any way to fix this. See attached image. I follow link in error message for "browser specific instructions" to fix it but there are no instructions.

Gmail opens in Edge and Chrome. I've spent some real time on this, cleared system memory, checked cookie settings wherever i can find them. Searched for tips online. Did Google do this on it's own to force me to use their browser? Wouldn't surprise me.

Running Firefox 140.8.0esr (64-bit) on Windows 10 Pro on an HP laptop. The feature/problem described works properly with Chrome and Edge. The problem occurs when accessing the following article:

If the window is set wide enough, there is a sidebar displaying, "Share this content in X". If the screen is squeezed down (i.e. drag the right margin to the left) far enough, the sidebar will disappear. That feature is handled properly, but as the window width is increased and the sidebar appears, the main body of text does not wrap properly. It appears that Firefox is not compensating for the width of the sidebar.

 NOTE: As I am not a HTML expert, my subject line referencing a particular HTML class could be misleading.

Starting about three weeks ago I began receiving the following message when trying to access the above website: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.kohls.com/" on this server.

Note that the site listed in the error message does not contain the S in https. I manually typed the address with the S and received the same message. I found your correspondence with aprilbrown77 on 8/15/23 and tried all the solutions suggested with no success. I believe Kohls change something on their website 3 weeks ago. My operating system is Windows 7 - 32bit and my Firefox version is 115.33.0esr. I have contacted others using Windows 7 and they all have the same problem. Please update Firefox to resolve the Kohls website issue for the millions of us using Windows 7. Thanks.

Например notion открывает черной страницей, мой газ https://мойгаз.смородина.онлайн/ открывает белым, mail.ru открывает но дальше все письма внутри начинает открывать чистыми вкладками. И это происходит не зависимо от того включен VPN или нет, загружает одинаково, произошло сегодня после перезагрузки компьютера. Сайты рабочие, проверено с этого же компьютера но другими браузерами. Как решить проблему? Это малая часть сайтов которые не работают.

With dailyexpress.co.uk using Firefox there are two pop ups. One is breaking news on each page using right links and the other is a subscribe to read any of the site, which is recent but prevents reading the site. This does not happen using Microsoft Edge.

I use Firefox on a Mac to access Brightspace for my classes. I also use Grammarly. When copying text from the Grammarly widgets and pasting it into the Brightspace HTML editor, the text is stripped of hard returns, causing paragraphs to collapse without any breaks between them.

I have tried pasting as unformatted text, and the issue persists. This issue does not occur in Chrome, so I suspect it is due to how Firefox handles clipboard data. I have not found a workaround or resolution for this.

When I try to connect to www.qsuper.qld.gov.au, I get this message:

I have checked that javascript is enabled and I do not have Ghostery or NoScript plugins. Interesting, the "support article" was hyperlinked and I could not access that either. (https://ds.tl/help-third-party-plugins, and the message is"server not found") I have rung Qsuper who advise me that there website is fine. Please advise any strategies. Many thanks in anticipation.

I had a mainstream company website start some of this months ago and now I seem to be getting more and more similar connection problems for other sites. My pc works just fine on nearly every other site so I just don't see it as my pc. I asked my ip and although I question whether they will help much but they did say nothing from their side. Yes I am up to date on ffox and OS. Clearing cookies does nothing. Some sites just say access denied, some will just never load or have some bs 'oops' or 'something went wrong' message. Chrome seems to mostly work but it may be goofy getting the sites working. These all used to work fine before. It does have the same or similar problem using other pc's on the same network. I can find nothing in my modem/router that is blocking anything. How do I find out what is wrong?

Here's the error page I get from O'reilley Auto Parts when searching. (I don't get this error when on O'relley com, but ONLY when searching for a part and ONLY with Firefox on my desktop. This started just a few months ago. All ad blocks and U Block Origin are disabled):

Have run thru all suggested fixes clearing cache / cookies using private mode disabling extensions / ad blocker / tracking protection

other retail sites and browsers fine

First, the Dark Reader extension does not work properly. Often, pages are displayed in black. I have to disable it. Second: X pages are not displayed (boring problem with strict mode) In both cases, I have no problem using Duck Duck Go.

I am now getting this message when I try to search for things at Lowes.

This has just started recently. I do not have this problem using Google Chrome. All other searches (Amazon, Ebay, Safeway, Walmart, et.al. are ok. Just who exactly is edgesuite? I am running Firefox on Windows 7.

Previously I could login to www.lowes.com with no problems. For the last several weeks I have not been able to login on Firefox, but I am able to login on Chrome. I have deleted the cookies and history tied to lowes.

Using Facebook creates an "Isolated Web Content" which makes the page run slow then crash.

This has been happening for years, now and means I increasingly just don't use Firefox, switching to Chrome, instead.

This affects Facebook on my Mac (Sequoia) and PC (Windows 11) machines.

I cannot log into Facebook with my Firefox browser. Even though the username and password are entered correctly, the login freezes and I cannot proceed. I am able to access the site on other devices. On my laptop, I deleted all cookies, history, and cache as recommended. I am able to log in to Instagram on this device. Coincidental to this problem: when I try to view video on newyorktimes.com, the browser freezes. I cannot view content in other open tabs and must reboot the browser.

I have issues with Firefox when I am accessing my Schwab account. I cannot access all the functionality of the site with Firefox. If I switch to Chrome or Edge the site works fine.

When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

I can't always sign into my bank with Firefox but can with Safari. Sometime it works and other times it doesn't and I get an error message. If I switch to Safari, I never have a problem signing in. Can you tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

Also, I can't do health video calls with Firefox. I can see the person but they can't hear me. I've tried everything I know to do the get it working to no avail. However, if I do a Zoom teleconference, I generally don't have any problems. The problems come when my doctor's facility sets up the video call. I don't know what system they use, but it's odd that it only works partially (video and no sound). I can do the video calls on my cell phone with no problems. It's only with my desktop, which I prefer to use because the screen is much easier to view. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
