I AM JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT MY MOZILLA FIREFOX ANDROID BROWSER SETTINGS MATCH MY VPN BUT SOMEHOW I CANT GET TO THE ABOUT:CONFIG PROBABLY BECAUSE I AM USING AN ANDROID BUT THERES GOT TO BE A WAY T OK MAKE SURE MY VPN AND MOZILLA ARE ON THE SAME PAGE. I HAVE BEEN GOING IN CIRCLES ALL NIGHT SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME.

out of nowhere my firefox bookmarks no longer appear. I am getting the following msg

The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem.

In an attempt to fix this problem, I have done the following:

• closed the browser and re-opened it
• rebooted my computer
• reinstalled my security software
• uninstalled firefox
• Reinstalled firefox

None of these steps have fixed the problem??????

Any ideas would be appreciated!

I wrote yesterday but my post doesn't appear today. Today I got the message about bookmarks and history not functioning and eventually found something in Firefox that said it was probably due to "some security software." I have now gone into Windows settings and my security updates are done, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now. This is an extremely annoying and disruptive issue. I see that several other people are experiencing it, so it's interesting that the note next to their posts state that no one else is having the same problem. Can someone please help us all to get our bookmarks and history back?

The site chatgpt.com demands challenges.cloudflare.com to be allowed. I visited this site and allowed cookies. Then it worked. However, the chatgpt.com site froze and when I reloaded it, I had to start all over again. This time, the request for challenges.cloudflare.com remains, even though a URL attachment is reloaded every few seconds. The same thing happens on the openai.com site and several other. I'm using windows 7.1 and ESET Smart Security Premium.

I use a VPN when I access the web and I recently updated my OS (Mac OS Tahoe). I updated Firefox and now DNS over HTTPS (DoH) is enabled in Firefox. When I have my VPN enabled, I cannot access the web, there is some problem with DNS resolution. I have changed my Firefox DoH settings to Standard (I have also used Strict) and have typically been unable to resolve web URLs correctly. There have been a few times that I have been able to use 'Standard' DoH strictness / settings and also use the VPN successfully at the same time, but typically when I have the VPN enabled Firefox cannot access whichever 'mozilla.cloudflare' address it is attempting to use for DNS resolution.

The VPN vendor suggested always using the VPN's DNS resolver. I have done this and I still have the same problem. What should I do to ensure that I have secure DNS and can successfully use a VPN?

I got the new FF update this morning and noticed shortly after when i got back online a bd_config.cfg file popped up onto my desktop windows 10. I deleted it not thinking anything about it and when back online again and it popped up again in fact everytime i did this it popped up no matter what i did and went online.

It has something to do with BitDefender i figured out uninstalled bit defender re installed it no luck

Refreshed\Reset Firefox with no luck either.

I have over 100 open tabs spread over 4 Mac desktops. I can no longer access ANY of them after upgrading to macOS Tahoe 26 and installing ESET Cyber Security Pro. I've used ESET with Firefox for many years without ANY problems. But now I have to choose between uninstalling ESET and being unprotected in order to use Firefox AT ALL. Every single webpage is blacked out with the message below. ESET support says that Firefox needs to issue an update to fix this problem.

I know the sites are secure (unless something is happening that I don't know about). I just want to get onto them, especially the Christmas site. Is it to do with Bitdefender?? I hope someone can help as the letter I want to write is getting time sensitive.

I use Adguard app for Windows which causes long page loading times in Firefox due to extended TLS Handshakes. I have installed the Adguard certificate in Firefox, have turned off DOH in Firefox, etc. etc. but, the only way that I can get a page to load in a timely manner is by clicking on "reload current page" twice in Firefox. This is a delay in itself and is very inconvenient. I understand that the incompatibility of Firefox with Adguard is a known problem and am wondering whether Mozilla is working on a solution in cooperation with Adguard?

If I turn VPN off everything works, if on says I'm off line can't read the article?

commenting on Facebook results in a scroll down with every letter typed (default gboard) , which makes it almost impossible to comment, it becomes frustrating at times and i can only comment on posta which have a few comments because the scrolling down is blocked by the lower end of page

After instalation Eset Smart Security 18.2.18.0 with full security browsers my Firefox is run only in read-only mode. If I will be disable option Security browser and run Firefox that's working. Next I will be enable option Security browser then Firefox starts with green frame. After close Firefox and next run then starts read-only mode. Eset Team is not fair play becouse resolving problem only disable option Security browser. So why is there an option that prevents Firefox from launching? All my portable browsers without Eset Security working without any kind of problems, for example Tor, Opera.

My bookmarks, history and passwords have disappeared. I looked at the articles, refreshed firefox, have restarted firefox and my computer multiple times but cannot retrieve them.

For the past few days hot links in Thunderbird do not open in Firefox. Selecting a link in an email opens or brings to the fore a copy of Firefox with the link address and the wait icon but nothing else happens. I have to close Firefox, copy the link location, Past and Go in Firefox, and then the linked page appears. This behavior happens even in Troubleshoot Mode, so it is not any plugin or customization. I am also running Mozilla VPN. With VPN disabled, hot links in Thunderbird open in Firefox as expected. Now you know where to look.

Also, when I tried to add Troubleshooting Information below, nothing appeared. When I selected to option to be shown what to do, this page was replaced with other which deleted all this text, and now I am entering it all in again, which is severely frustrating. On a page where the user has entered possibly a volume of information, there should not be any sloppy risk of deleting that information due to page mishandling. Open help or assistance information in a separate tab, please. Think ahead about this stuff. You are supposed to be web design experts. Instead your web site spits in my face just when I am asking for help. Think. Plus, I had to get the Troubleshoot information manually so that is not being as automatic as it appears to be , either. Getting help should ideally be a button click, not jumping through hoops.
