I use to be able to send photo's but not anymore. I have looked thru all the suggestions but can't find the answer. I am assuming that one needs to use file link, but if I choose the file link the recipient either doesn't get the email or deletes it because they now don't recognize the sender. If I ignore the file link option the recipient doesn't get the photo just the email body. What has changed in Thunderbird. I use Runbox for my main email and Gmail as alternative.

Hi, hoping someone could help as I am struggling to get my information back. I am using Ubuntu Cinnamon.

Thunderbird crashed last night, wouldn't work, tried safe mode. Nothing fixed it. It hung when opening up and after 30 seconds said force quit. So I was forced to reinstall. I did a manual backup but not using the inbuilt tool as I couldn't get into Thunderbird. I just copied the data from username/.thunderbird

After spending a long time uninstalling. Because it reached 78% and then crashed on uninstall. Eventually after reading various pages on the internet I managed to reinstall from the Ubuntu software manager using the latest snap version. (Which I am not sure was what was actually installed previously).

However having used thunderbird for nearly 20 years or so. I have a username/.thunderbird folder. And when I moved to this platform, I have a snap/thunderbird/common/.thunderbird folder.

I installed this new distro 2 years ago, and remember having issues getting my data into the system under Snap. But eventually got it to work somehow back then.

However since reinstalling I cannot see the last 2 years of emails, archives or data. It has launched into a 2 year old profile. I appear to have lost most of the emails from the archive folders (but kept the folders) removed all of the personal folders but then dumped all those emails into my inbox. Giving me 6500 emails that were in various personal folders. (I don't get 6500 emails in a year so don't know what has happened.) It has even changed all of the new dates to the US format, so nothing makes any sense.

I now have 2 Thunderbird profiles, over 12GB in size. And have apparently lost 2 years of my life. But reading support pages, suggests I should be okay because thunderbird doesn't delete data when you reinstall?

I have looked through various other threads which talk about pointing it at the profiles and mail boxes, however nothing works.

Any help much needed.

I am trying to login to one of my online banking websites and I am getting this message "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading" and when I hit the ALLOW button, nothing happens. I don't know if this related to the latest Firefox update ... but it's a real problem for me. I have to keep switching over to Chrome to login in. Please advise what I need to do?

I've been getting access denied from more and more websites. I messaged a manager from the website shown below, who said my browser was not up to date. I update my Firefox browser when it asks. I did it yesterday, but still got this message today. I haven't updated my macOS because I have been keeping some old software alive. That is no longer necessary. I am now running macOS Mojave version 10.14.6. I can upgrade to macOS Monterey version 12. Is it worth making this update? Will this solve my access denied issue from certain websites? Is there another way to fix this problem?"

I have just purchased the latest version of Mozilla for OS. My computer is older and the operating system is Monterey 12.7.6 I am assuming that my computer's operating system is too old and the new mozilla will not support my Monterey system, correct? Is there another Mozilla version I can download?

YOUR BROWSER [is bad] N VPN TOO. Sorry but it's TRUE. Can't use the VPN. It just turn OFF for no reason. I had to switch back to DUCK DUCK BROWSER. I purchase SURFSHARK VPN. still your browser can't keep up with a website like AFF.com. Very sad(GHETTOLY DISAPPOINTTED) tho. FireFox. NO GO!!!! FIX MY PROBLEM PLEASE. Thanks.

Firefox updated today. I don't know—maybe some people like the new design of the tabs, the buttons in the drop-down menus, and the gradient borders around the active tab and the tab bar itself. But I’d like to revert to the old interface. How can I do that?

I have been through all the steps and configurations and everything is set correctly but suddenly Thunderbird does not communicate with Gmail. I have tried everything. My passwords are correct and IMAP and STMP configurations are all correctly set. Now what?

Hello, I’ve run into a problem: after installing update 156.01, whenever I go to a link to join a Google Meet conference, the page starts reloading endlessly (including when I click the "Join" button). I’ve already tried disabling protection and hardware acceleration, clearing the cache and cookies, and even accessing it in Safe Mode, but the situation hasn't changed

I have an issue with my website and Samsung Galaxy 20-22.

When user goes to ravepreservationproject.com -> Directory

And using the location drop downs.

The screen may blink then ff crashes. Or it just stick and not load the listing of the location selected via the drop downs.

All other browsers work across all devices and OSs.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

When I tap a link, it opens in Firefox, but I want to be able to open the link with another application. I can't find how to change this setting on my Android phone. Please tell me how to choose another app for opening links.

I asked this question on Google and the AI answer although sounding logical and easy did not work.

Note to firefox I.T. - I am not going to waste anymore time trying to get all this purple that was version 157 update. Get rid of the purple soon or I'll uninstall firefox. Microsoft Edhe is already on the computer and is raring to go.
