I cannot figure out how to add my favorite things to the toolbar. The toolbar doesn't even show up at the top of my page. I just get a string of random bookmark names under the address bar with the Other bookmarks folder at the end. I can't even get rid of "Finish Setup" which is the last one shown. How do I do find where the toolbar is hidden and get it to show? Once I do find it, how can I add my favorite items to the toolbar? I even had ask a question online to find out how to restore my most recent bookmark which was backed up in the documents folder on my computer. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't like the way Mozilla Firefox looks now. It isn't as easy to use. I have included what the top of page looks like now. I am sorry I didn't think to keep one of how it used to be.

When i drag a tab to reorder it, it always just opens in a new window. I also can't move a tab back into another window with other tabs. I'm on linux mint running on wayland

Today was the second time in two weeks I have lost every open tab in Firefox. Previous to this, this problem has not occurred in at least 5 years. What is going on? To utilize data from multiple sites takes a long time to relocate sites and this is becoming unacceptable. Firefox updates are better than this. Thank you for your help.

This problem started yesterday. The sound in YouTube with Firefox is extremely low. As far as I can tell, the problem doesn't exist elsewhere. Other browers are OK with YouTube and other websites that have sound are OK with Firefox.

I reinstalled Firefox and rebooted the computer - still has the problem.

I'm using Windows 11 24H2 (home) on my desktop.

Firefox Containers > Manage Containers > Remove [container]; message (modal, I think it's called?) pops up to say I have a tab open and do I want to proceed? I to up to the container icon upper-right, search for [container], click to open that page, then CTRL+W to close it. Then I try to Remove [container] again; fails. That container is still in the list, and still popping up a note that a tab is open in that container (no, I closed it).

I really like the Containers feature, AND it could use some improvement.

Unrelated, I'm open to help with proofreading; feel free to ask, or point me to a git where I could contribute. I'm not happy about the apparent erosion of privacy in Firefox, but it sure beats Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

Firefox has been running incredibly slow. I currently only have this window open, but if I open my task manger it shows 10 Firefox windows running. If I right click and end task, it will end the task, but shortly there after a new one will pop up. 1 of the is running in efficiency mode. I assume this is what is slowing down performance, but I do not know how to fix.

when attempting to move Firefox bookmarks to my new computer, I click import data within the Firefox page. The computer asks me to select the file. I have no idea where the bookmarks reside and cannot find a file. What is the procedure to get this done?

Hi. There is a problem with video playback when skipping through the video using a playback bar. The video (but not audio) freezes at the spot when one skippes to another part of the video and re-establishes after a while (not so short while) to the part of the video that is currently played. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. I click on a video to play - video opens, plays maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then playback stops spinning top, I also found out during the last glitch after update that if I switch the resolution briefly, higher or lower doesn't matter - important is to leave the current resolution and switch to another one. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. If I wait for this - without doing anything myself, it sometimes takes 30 - 40 seconds for the video to start ... sometimes it just "hangs" ... This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. Now, however, the disruption/interruption is so massive and totally annoying that I'm thinking of switching. I'm just tired of it ...

I am trying to add a custom search engine of my choice for maximum efficiency, speed/privacy, etc, autonomy, preferably SwissCows.. it is a secure site to my knowledge and all references lead to it having been secure, have searched it multiple times, no problem whatsoever, however browser is having some problems with detection when I input it in settings. If any staff onboard your teams could assist, I have not yet gotten this chance to take a screenshot, but I can also do that in a soonest reply I can.. I have been using the link provided on site for the search engine of Swiss Cows (as I said it's not as well known of a site, but it's a very secure one and smaller Swiss based focused company.. and even as well as, https, privacy focused, so yeah I guess.. maybe,, focus may not detect such types of search engine format in addresses alone quite yet.
