My wife’s Thunderbird has had problems for several weeks. To repair them, I have disconnected from our e-mail provider (Proton.me), & reconnected to it. Everything seems to be fine but her Thunderbird Inbox. There are no emails in it, but it insists there are two (2). I have tried to compact the folder & to repair the folder, but these actions have no effect. How do I get her inbox clear of this problem, so I can focus on her bigger problem?

I changed my gmail account password, and Mozilla Thunderbird is losing its mind. I did the Oauth, logged in, but Thunderbird keeps popping up "Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants to access your Google Account" over and over again, even though I keep clicking on "Allow"!

Mails that I want to keep in the inbox disappear. They are not in the bin and not in the junkbox. In Thunderbird for windows these mails are still in the inbox. How and/or where can I find an reactivate these mails? Kind regards Tony

If a folder has been compacted and now only shows emails that have been starred, is there any way of retrieving the files that have been compacted? I am using Thunderbird version 144 on Windows 11 Thanks Michael

I have found a bug with version 10.1 of the Thunderbird email app for Android.

When I go to Sent Items in the Thunderbird app, choose a previously sent email to view it, then choose 'Edit as new message', then make the necessary changes and choose 'Save draft', Thunderbird crashes and the new message is lost (not getting saved in drafts).

I am having trouble adding my yahoo email account to Thunderbird. It keeps telling me I have the wrong email, password, or configuration. I definitely have the correct email and password. What can I do? I don't know how to change the configuration.

I have contacted support earlier and received a reply through Spectrum webmail giving me a ticket ID 344188 and this is the first that I have had time to resume working on the problem. My email address with Thunderbird is [edited from public] @columbus.rr.com. Besides the Spectrum webmail I also have access to Gmail with the address: [edited from public] @gmail.com Other contact means are: phone [edited phone# from public] and postal mail: [edited mailing address from public community support forum]

My Thunderbird program stopped sending on about 11/3 and the last incoming mail was on 11/5/25. The folders to save emails have also gotten rearranged and some missing. I hope you can help me with Thunderbird, which I have used for many years and have donated to it an Mozella regularly for the past few years. Respectfully, Richard E. Hartle

Thunderbird program is all messed up. First, I cannot send an email, even to myself, and get error message:

"Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMPT) error. The server responded: p-impout005.msg.pkvw.co.charter.net cmsmtp Connection Rejected - see htto//www.spamhaus.org/query/ip/121.127.34.205 AUP#Out-1220."

Spectrum person I called referred me to Spectrum.net, and I am unable to get any help in that web site. My Thunderbird inbox page also now has the saved items in the left column all mixed up. Please help! Richard E Hartle cell phone: [edited phone# from public community support forum]

I work in a small traditional community fishmonger shop in Scotland and we use Mozilla. I am trying to find a basic instruction manual i could print out handy for us (we are a small team and only i have experience in Microsoft emails etc but this is different ) and i am just trying to help us understand some basics priority being for email, contacts and folder daily management.

We receive a mix of online orders, customers, suppliers and much “junk” noise emails so i’m trying to help us figure out simple and easy to set things moving forward after some staff changes that impacted our “flow”😊

I have been using Thunderbird for years. Until now, I deleted messages from my folders and trash, and I saw that they disappeared, but I checked that all these messages were still in the folder. When I deleted them from there, they were still visible after a second. I have almost 70,000 messages, and I want to delete a large part of them efficiently. My email is on Gmail, what should I do?

I don't find in the on-line documentation any method to--when composing the body of an e-mail message--start new line without starting a new paragraph.

What I want is in a sense the opposite of the non-breaking space. I have read that discussion.

I am asking how to enter a break, without adding the space that is use between paragraphs.

One feature missing from K9/Thunderbird for android is ability to view the complete email headers and text. Having the option to not only view headers is to view and export the complete email message. Can the developers add that ability in upcoming versions?

Hi, I am a Building Inspector so take lots of photos and email a lot of documents. I try and delete all inbox and save sent items to a local folder on my computer, but my I phone storage still says that they are not actually deleting from the email program and are being stored somewhere. How do I reduce this storage? I can't download any more Iphone updates because of this.

Help me retrieve my inbox and its subfolders. I have used Thunderbird for 9 or 10 years or more. I know how to find Users and the thunderbird profiles but I cannot figure out what to do next. This is a disaster for me because earthlink doesn't save my old messages.

My computer (Surfacepro 6) crashed shortly before this happened. Thunderbird seems to have updated itself at some point while this was happening and suddenly it was asking me to log in. I didn't know whether to imap or pop. I should have stopped there and gotten help, but i was so bewildered that moments before I was writing emails and several minutes later - poof.

Recently, all folders only display the Thunderbird start page with a donation request that cannot be clicked away. And when I disable the display of the start page in the settings, nothing is displayed at all (see screenshot).

For some reason after the last update I have been getting multiple inbox.conf(*) folders getting created (see image). I have not found a way to remove these folders. Is this a bug or a setting issue?

Can anyone tell me how to set up the THUNDERBIRD TO ALWAYS LOG-IN into its own Messenger and avoid the Yahoo's interference with his INADEQUATE Messenger format - this should not be high-science question but I have difficulties to find an information in the HELP-section - thanks, Tony H. ...!
