I am on a Mac desktop. I’m using my desktop as a regular download folder (browser.download.dir = /Users/username/Desktop). BUT the screenshot tool (which is great) always stores the file in (/Users/username/Downlods). Thats boring.

In May 2025 all browsers should have removed the default styling for the h1 element when it is nested in a sectioning element (article, aside, nav, section). I went into Firefox Dev Editions user-agent style sheet and noticed that the styling for nested h1 elements is still the same. I'm wondering why that is the case, since I was under the impression that all the major browsers had completed make the necessary adjustments at the end of May 2025.

Hello! I've been seeing some strange behavior on firefox launch or on new profile launch. There is a popup during startup, can't see it on the screen but I can see it in tray. Is this normal or no? I observed it on two different hp notebooks so far.

Any time I allow a website to use my location on my home computer, it places me in a suburb in Las Vegas. However, I live near Seattle. This happens on multiple websites including Google Maps and Uber Eats, and on other browsers my location is correct. I'm not running any VPNs or proxy servers, I've verified that my IP address is linked to my correct location, and I've deleted all cache and cookies ("Everything" for time frame) from my history. Is there a way I can have an accurate location again?

i accidentally refreshed my firefox and ii got my profile back .. but i accidentally deleted it .. after contacting a local wizard and going on a quest i found my profile sitting in a dark corner of my drive.. it seemed to all be okay but i saw my awesome theme was gone !! after checking to see if i still had my awesome extensions they were ALSO GONE !! everything else is here though like my passwords and stuff.. where are my extensions and awesome seal theme !! im scared and alone !!!! help me mozilla helpers !!

I am getting Firefox on my tablet so I can use a Portable device. You are on my desktop as advised by my son. He years ago advised me to learn email. To do so meant a non credit class at the local university. It is now many years later and I a retired nurse seeks his advise for all computer related things. Email for communication has been very important as my family is in Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC. In the past I did travel out of Canada but did keep my family aware of my movement and did book my own transportation, accomodation etc. Email allows this. I felt secure using Firefox to do this. You have proven my son was wise in his advise. I can trust Firefox. Vera Hamilton

Since Mozilla made Firefox Beta's update (B141.05), a few days ago, most fonts (.ttf's) and icons (.ico's) are matching the same color as the background (.bmp's) of the pages. Who else has noticed so? This does not help any user on any system. Connect.Mozilla.org - Who Agrees that Most Fonts are Camouflage to Websites?

Not adjust numbers bar for sign in. Due to this problem I am unable to sign my account. In other browsers it works properly like chrome and opera etc. Please check attachment

Prior to the 6/16/25 release, hitting the back button on the three button control on a page with no previous pages would open the home page without closing the current tab. After the update, it closes the tab before opening the home page. This was useful for quickly opening multiple tabs, as well as preventing accidentaly closing a tab. Please revert this change, or make it a setting.

Firefox just stopped showing the videos in youtube, I can hear the sound but no image, tested with 3 vids , all play normal on chrome sound and picture BUT NOT on firefox, I have cleared cache, updated firefox, rebooted, used CCleaner , cleared history, rebooted PC but to no avail. Are there any settings in Firefox that is preventing screening of utube vids. And how were they changed.? Regards and thanxs Janina

I don't know if there's anywhere else that allows you to report bugs, so I'll do it here. Currently, you cannot swipe away download pop-ups on the mobile version of firefox beta and it covers screen elements for as long as it persists. It's a minor bug that removes your ability to tap anything on the bottom of the screen for 20 seconds or so when it timesout. An example is in the image I gave. The screen pop-up continues to block any interactions behind it.

Occasionally i get weirdly washed out colors on videos, this seems to mostly happens on my jellyfin instance on high res content. It does not happens on other browser, and the issue is very inconsistent, sometimes disappearing after a reboot, or when refreshing firefox. Same with firefox safe mode sometimes it fixes the issue... and sometimes it doesnt. Disabling or enabling HDR doesnt fix the issue.

I use firefox 141.0b4 and RTX 5070 Ti with the latest driver. Any idea how to fix this? Attached are some screenshots showing the issue

Suddenly they broke after the 140.0 update, but as it turns out, this is the case everywhere. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Verified on: Firefox Desktop, Chromium Desktop, Firefox Mobile Font: Calibri (No changes), Roboto (No changes) I've scoured half the internet, as if I were the only one with this problem...

Hello all:

Just downloaded version 140 and ran into an immediate "visual/appearance" problem with regard to the background color(s) of the sidebar bookmarks view. Many themes now have totally dark sidebar colors and not readable (see screenshot image upload with this posting). I always have my bookmarks (almost 1200 of them) displayed in my sidebar, and this is the first time an issue like this has arisen with a Firefox update.

To remedy this scenario, I must use very light colored themes that have a white background when you bring up the sidebar bookmarks. If not, everything is totally dark and unreadable.

Any ideas or help on this one?

Often when I am searching for luxury items, I keep getting Amazon and Temu and Target and Walmart. These are not luxury retailers. Why does Manilla insist on sending me to these retailers all the time?!? I am looking for classic quality, clothing, shoes, housewares, etc. I am not looking for cheap plastic from China. How can I permanently delete retailers? I do not want to see in the search engine?
