Hi. Since the last 2 updates, my Bell sympatico email through T-bird cannot SEND anymore emails (No errors are given but the email never comes through). I can receive emails without issue and when I use another tool (like Outlook or go directly through my browser, the sympatico emails come through) I attached the settings for the SMTP in a screenshot if that could help.

Any idea how to fix this?

I have created an account instance in account settings, and the "Test connection to server" says it is OK, but when I go to the mail tab the get messages button and New Message are grayed out an NO accounts are listed in the "folders" area. Not does it ever ask for my password to the SMTP server I have selected. I have an existing account with my own email service (Hover), and MUST connect to that. This is critical, as I need my e-mail to accomplish necessary activities.

Mail filters for custom headers like List-Unsubscribe, Authentication-Results or Received-SPF copying messages from IMAP accounts to Local Folders do not work on the Yahoo! IMAP account. For example:

(the snippets above are fragments of the msgFilterRules.dat file)

Filters1 and 2 work well on other IMAP accouns, like for example wp.pl. So this is about Yahoo or something is corrupted. My question is, what wrong is here ? And by the way - how to create filter copying all messages from IMAP to Local Folders ? Is better way then filter3 looking for random string in the subject or somewhere else ? Thank you.

On one of my accounts I have an enabled filter for incoming messages consisting of a Tag + Copy + Delete (see screenshot) When a new message arrives, the filter is executed TWICE (see screenshot of the log) , the copied message arrives TWICE at the destination (once tagged, once NOT tagged). In the deleted folder of the source there is only one message.

What might be gong on ? Why is the filter executed twice ?

PS : I also tried Tag + Move instead of Tag + Copy + Delete

I have everything I need from my old machine except my e-mail filters. If I copy the whole profile I will lose all of the sent messages and saved messages I have generated since I got Thunderbird up and running on my new machine.

Everything working just fine last night. Wake up and Thunderbird will not retrieve emails.

Remembered this old message I got so I went through and deleted my second email address, didn't help.

Checked all settings compared to Yahoo, still won't download messages. I can even send a message with my current settings no problem, and it does login, just won't retrieve emails. Gives me a connection timeout.

Anyone have any ideas?

Both Mozilla products spontaneusly disappeared from my computer. Firefox requested a reinstall, and all was recovered. Firefox completely disappeared, and I had to restore from backups. I am seriously worried. What is going on?

Signing into Netflix it only requires my email address. Then it gives me a message that captcha is required, then gives me an error message, then puts me through to my account. Anyone in the world using your browser and my email address can access my account.

When I search for something it shows up in English, but some text under the result is French as shown in the picture. I use latest Firefox with Google search engine, and I have all settings in Google set to English, And same for Firefox settings

I have been working with a new service provider to move my domain and Email service for the past week. The domain move wasn’t an issue, but migrating Email has been a major pain. The new service technical staff had numerous issues just accessing the Outlook account, so copying the inbox and folders turned into a nightmare. Then I installed Office 365, just to access Outlook, and create PST files, which I provided to the new service tech staff, to synchronize all folders, but most of the PST files didn’t end up in the new server.

So, in Thunderbird I created an account for the Outlook service, and that synchronized everything, and was ecstatic! I then attempted to change the correctly synchronized Outlook account on Thunderbird, to the new IMAP server, but I can’t figure out how to change from the Microsoft Exchange Mail Server, to the new IMAP server. Since the Email Addresses on both servers will be the same, and only change with the DNS update to point to the new server, I am unable to create an IMAP account on Thunderbird, along side the Outlook account.

I am at a loss as to what I can do at this point. Can anyone help?

I have daily tasks that I dismiss every morning. When I open the Tasks tab, all the dismissed tasks are still there. Is there a delete the completed tasks so they don't clutter the task list? The attached image shows my list of dismissed task, all in red.

when i open my firefox, all of my previous opened tabs goes blank and only 1 rightmost recent tab can be open, that was my last night tab,next i close firefox and open again and my tabs its all gone

Die Pfadangabe 'imap://juergen.plenske%40t-online.de@secureimap.t-online.de/INBOX/Junk' des ersten Ordners ist falsch. Der INBOX-Ordner auf t-online heist 'Spam' und funktioniert als zweiter Ordner (unterhalb) korrekt.

How do i get my original profile page to always open when i open firefox instead of a new page without my bookmaks. This started right after my visit to Mozilla so i must have changed something. I don't know what!.

Hi, it looks like Firefox can copy links from selected tabs, using right-click menu. It doesn't work for non HTTP(S) addresses though, such as "file:///C:/Users/USER/etc."

Is it possible for non HTTP(S) addresses?

The add on Export Tabs URLs by AL is very good, has the option for non HTTP(S) addresses, but I couldn't get it to work for selected tabs, is it possible for selected tabs?

The summary says it - How do I make Thunderbird automatically close the 'original' message when I click Reply or Forward?

Outlook does this, and I find it odd that Thunderbird does not have a toggle for this. I find that I end up the day having to close out a dozen or so 'original' messages...

Please tell me there is a switch somewhere! :)

My business has two domains. I can send email to a Gmail account holder using the primary domain with no issues. But amy emails from what I call the "secondary" domain below are treated as spam. This occurs with two different email addresses using the secondary domain.

Both domains are hosted with Bluehost. Exhaustive research has revealed the following:

• Settings in Thunderbird are exactly the same, e.g. ports, security, SSL/TLS, etc. for each domain.
• There is no subject line or content that could possibly be regarded as spam.
• MXToolbox indicates that the secondary domain is not on any blacklist.
• Extended support via Bluehost reveals that SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are all correct.
• Email sent to a Gmail account using the CPanel (Roundcube) is not flagged as spam. Only emails sent via Thunderbird are flagged.
• Emails sent to a Gmail account from the secondary domain using my mobile phone, but still on the same network/IP address, are not flagged as spam.
• If I first send an email to one of the secondary domain emails FROM Gmail, then reply to it, the reply is not flagged as spam.

After many hours of head scratching (and later, head banging), I am pretty much at my wit's end with this problem. I'm an electronic engineer but this one is definitely out of my wheelhouse. Any help would most certainly be appreciated!

So every few days now if the free VPN is on I get my tabs locked into an error. I get that warning screen and sites stop loading or partly load, before the VPN update I never had to close Firefox this often, if left idle with the VPN on this seems to happen faster, I have left the VPN on overnight and I tend to nearly 90% of the time wake up to this error, if I disable the VPN fully I can pick up where I was but cutting it back on I have high odds that it will break, Firefox is idle while I do other stuff and the VPN is on, I get that error and I get to watch the weather app give me it's error. I have never had Firefox fight my antivirus It worked fine for ages, and only now do I need to reset Firefox by force now every 1 to 3 days. I use to be able to leave tabs open, but now they always error out in a few days. It could be other things, I just never had problems like this until now, it's so common and in the same time tables.

After the last update the former Mozilla Test Pilot "Snooze Tabs" isn't working for me any more, I tell a tab to snooze and it just stays where it is. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/snoozetabs/

I've tried running with addons disabled and then running with addons active again and the behaviour is the same. It's the same behaviour whether I run from the toolbar or the context menu.

I'm presuming this problem is related to Firefox update mechanics. Any suggestions for how to get this working again please?
