I'm using the latest version of Firefox. A website I visit a lot - https://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew - uses the Disqus system in its comment section. The problem is that no comments at all show up when viewed in Firefox, I have to switch to Safari just to read and engage with the comment forum. Why is this happening? Any ideas? Thanks.

This morning (08/28/25), I updated my browser to v142.0.1 (64-bit), and Facebook as well as other sites have been affected to the point that I can't even see contents now!!!!!!!

I (God forbid) opened the same sites in Edge, and there's no problem viewing them on Edge.

Is there a way that I can roll back this latest update, because I had no problems until this morning. I'm running a Win 10 Pro OS.

Since last week, virtually anywhere i go using Firefox Android I get the attached cloud flare test for that site. I use a VPN but turning it off doesn't fix it. I have cleared the cache, reinstalled the browser, and the problem persists. Curiously, if I log out and use Firefox without logging in, it stops. Chrome, Brave and Edge don't do this. Thanks, Mike

Hi. News videos from www.bbc.com won't play. When I ask the BBC website to play a video, I get a blank area of my screen, with a play button. Clicking the button makes it go away, leaving me with just the blank area of the screen. Videos from youtube, movie trailers, etc play fine - it's just videos from a few sites (such as BBC) that yield nothing. I have autoplay videos disabled by default, but: I'm not trying to have the website autoplay; The setting doesn't affect other websites; and there's no way to disable autoplay for the website I'm on (no way I can find, at least).

Yahoo Finance stock charts are not loading. Never encountered this problem before this week. A GeekSquad tech support person was not able to fix the problem and recommended I contact Firefox. Edge and Chrome load Yahoo Finance stock quote sites just fine; I'm only having trouble with Firefox. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks! Carol

For some reason, I was unable to verify my account. I even thought I was wrong with my password, but that was not the case. When I use a different browser, Apple does not just ask me for a password but also a key; however, this option was not available on Firefox. With this, I can't log in to my iCloud on my Firefox Linux app.

I’m experiencing an issue where I cannot use ChatGPT-5 in Firefox. When I log in and try to select or use GPT-5, nothing loads or functions properly. Other models like GPT-3.5 work normally, but GPT-5 does not respond.

I’ve already tried refreshing the page, clearing cache and cookies, and even disabling extensions — but the problem persists. Could this be a compatibility issue with Firefox? Any advice or support would be appreciated.

Hi Google Maps all of a sudden is not showing the names of places in Firefox. When Google maps loads initially the names show for about 1 second and then disappear.

 I am on a Surface Pro 9.  

Google Maps works fine in Chrome.

I have already tried disabling extensions, clearing cache, and ensure the performance is set to run normally. 

What else can I do to fix this?

Im experiencing browsing issues visiting pages with dynamic content in the latest versions of Firefox. Im seeing similar behavior in Firefox desktop and the Firefox Android app. Both apps are running the latest version.

When I go to this site, I see the text content, but the list of puzzles that comprises the main page of the page is just blank. Same behavior on desktop and mobile. (See first screenshot)

If I use Chrome (desktop or mobile) or Safari (desktop), the page shows up normally with a list of puzzles. (second screenshot from Chrome desktop).

This is happening across a few sites I visit. Most seem to have some kind of dynamic content loading (like the list of puzzles on this page). This seemed to start this past weekend and I first thought it might be related to the AWS issues, but it's not resolved and it seems specific to FF.

Hello, I have spent the last couple of hours reading through other questions and posts but nothing seeemd to work. If I try to copy a shared link in OneDrive or SharePoint on my desktop and then paste that link into Outlook Web App, the paste function does not work. The option is there, but the actual pasting does not materialise. CTRL+V also does not work. The only thing that does work is if I paste the link into another window first and then copy again, and the CTRL+V works. Right click and paste never works. I have tried this in a private window and in safe mode. I have also checked the clipboard settings in about:config to make sure they are not working against me. It works fine on Chrome. It has been like this since I moved over from Chrome a few weeks ago. Is this a common issue or a 'me' problem? I tried making a PWA ("Add tab to taskbar") for "https://discord.com/channels/@me," but when I launch it, it only navigates to "https://discord.com," which is a splash page that prompts you to either download the Discord desktop app or continue on the web (clicking to continue on web then takes you to ./channels/@me). Examining the desktop shortcut for the PWA confirms that the URL it targets is "https://discord.com"; however, changing this url manually in the shortcut then relaunching it STILL only navigates to the discord.com domain, not the full discord.com/channels/@me url path that I specified.

Can anyone else confirm whether PWAs can only currently target a domain, not a specific url path?

I am on Firefox 142.01 and Windows 11. For the past month or so, after logging into websites such as chewy.com, orbitz.com, marriott.com etc, the screen returns completely blank. I then have to go to Chrome if I want to do anything. I use NoScript 13.0.9 and have allowed all access so not sure what is blocking the browser content. There are no error messages or anything displaying at all. Any assistance is appreciated, thank you!

You did an update to Firefox about two weeks ago & now I can't login. Had to call EDD yesterday & today to talk to an IT specialist. She told me that Mozilla never contacted California EDD & for the last two weeks people, myself included haven't been able to login. She told me to use Chrome or Microsoft Edge, both of which I absolutely HATE to use. Well guess what I was able to login using Microsoft Edge.

Here's the steps Login They send you a 6 digit text code. You enter the code Then you get a pop up message that something went wrong & call the 833 - 876 - 9333 for the IT dept. Which only takes about 20+ trys to get someone.

PLEASE CORRECT THIS SITUATION!!!!

Running an old Mac mini and Catalina. Firefox 128.14.0esr (64-bit)

As of today I can't log in to PayPal from my desktop using Firefox as my browser, it says I am "blocked" I spoke to Paypal and the account is fine. From the same machine and the same internet connection, I can log in with Safari and do not get the Blocked message. I can log in via Safari and my iPad. I can log in with ethernet or WiFi (different ISPs, one BT, one Spitfire) as long as it isn't Firefox.

All signs point to the old browser. Can/will this be fixed? Cheers,

Twitter/X does not display, only an error message that says Twitter/X does not work with Firefox' advanced tracking (or similar). Requesting someone at Firefox and someone at Twitter/X get together and fix this so these two entities play nice with each other. Thank you in advance.

Cannot open AOL Mail or Facebook at times after sleeping my PC. If I revert to my Laptop or using MS Edge on my PC all is fine. I have reinstalled Firefox, but problem persists from time to time.
