A few weeks ago I started having occasional problems with access to sites protected by reCAPTCHA. I would get error messages about not being able to connect to reCAPTCHA. Switch to Edge, no problem. This would change from day to day. Sometimes it all works, other times it doesn't, still. Then I started to notice that Google searches in Firefox would sometimes take a long time and eventually fail. Try it a few minutes later sometimes, no problem, instant results. Erratic. Never know when it's going to work and when it's not. Switch to Bing, good to go, always. Google Maps sometimes loads right away, other times it is very slow and may never completely load. Finally, I've noticed that some non-Google sites sometimes load slowly or stall out altogether, commonly with a "Waiting for www.googletagmanager.com" message at the bottom left. I haven't encountered any of these issues in Edge, though granted I seldom use it unless I'm having trouble with Firefox.

This weekend, I did a full computer rebuild, which involved a clean install of Firefox. I was hoping that something in Firefox had got corrupted in my old computer and that the rebuild would take care of it. But, no. Same as before. If this were a problem on Google's end, I'd expect a big howl. As it stands, I think it probably must be Firefox that's at fault.

Anyhow, before I try to submit a bug report, has anyone else experienced this? Better yet, does anyone know a cure?

Thanks.

Over the last 6 months, and increasing number of websites don't open on Firefox. I've noticed it most consistently on any of the wikipedia/wikimedia pages, but it's not just those. When I type in an address and press return, or click on a link, the browser just acts as if nothing has happened. There does not show me the loading symbole. If I ask it to open a new tab with the site, the address appears on the tab, but the page itself is just black. Other browsers have no problem loading the same sites. I am on a mac, and using a VPN. Restarting the browser doesn't help, though restarting the computer sometimes does.

Thank you,

For the last few days I have been unable to logon to my email account. I receive an AT&T error after I enter my password.

The AT&T person who helped me diagnosed the problem as being the Firefox browser since I do not encounter the same error with my Norton Browser. Firefox, however, is my preferred browser and I have used it since I moved from Chrome a number of years ago.

How can I resolve this?

I have ATT yahoo mail and it has always worked well up to a couple days ago. When I hit password sign in, it normally goes to a send me an text code. Now when I hit password signin, it goes to an error message from ATT stating it has a connection issue. When you hit OK, it takes you to the yahoo page but not mail. Per ATT tech, there is a problem in Firefox with ATT. He sent me to private browser, and than I could sign in to my e mail account. Whats is going On?

I have been unable to retrieve at&t emails today. I have been able to access them through Copilot, but cannot get Mozilla to open my AT&T page. I contacted AT&T and once they say the emails would pop up via Copilot they could offer no solution. Any suggestions?
