Initial performance is good, but over time especially when tabs are opened and closed frequently responsiveness to user input (e.g. tab switching, opening/closing tabs, response to hyperlinks) becomes very slow. After force quitting and restarting, performance is good again for some time. I exclusively use private tabs.

Firefox v140 on iPad, iOS v18.x.x

Missing Home Page icon on Firefox web pages after forced update to v140. Not good!!!

Is there any way to restore the Home Page icon (house) or restore a previous version of Firefox?'

Ok, so first everyone needs to know I love Firefox, I have never donated a cent to Firefox. I think I have burned by FIREFOX MOZILLA HOW? I am not sure, because I am not an expert as all of you, but: I uninstalled Firefox because my iPad kept freezing and does not move on my iPad and all my four phones. While reinstalling Firefox, I see that one of their products called Monitor said my accounts have been compromised about 700+ instances. Then I proceed to find out how my accounts and private data was compromised? Well when I saw the list, you can imagine how long IT IS??? well, I was given a choice do it by paying $8+ a month/yearly and or manual; so what is the question how my addresses got compromised if I only use Firefox, Isn’t Firefox the self appointed SUPER GREAT BROWSER AND ADVOCATE FOR SECURITY AND INTERNET USER RIGHTS AND SO ON? Well again I am not an expert, but what I’m am so FXXXXXG burning stupidity it is that when I attempted to use the service, the FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS OF SECURITY your FUL NAME, YOUR DATE OF BIRTH, YOUR CITY AND STATE. Well, I am sorry today I lost flight on this browser, back to Safari, I guess. LIKE AN STUPID IDIOT I GAVE MY FULL NAME, MY DATE OF BIRTH, MY CITY, MY STATE TO FIREFOX/MOZILLA. NOW FIREFOX MOZILLA HAS ME BY MY BAXXS AND I FELT FOR IT. DO YOU WHY I HAVE NEVER GIVE A CENT TO FIREFOX, WITH ALL THE RESPECT ALL OF YOU DESERVE HIGH TECH, YES INCLUDING FIREFOX MOZILLA IS LIKE A POLITICIAN THAT BEGS FOR MONY AND SCREW YOU LATER. I AM MAD AS HELLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!

I am not the one using Firefox for iOS; my sister is. I am not looking for an actual fix at this point, I just want to know if anyone else is having the problem.

My sister was having no problem logging into Chase with her 8th gen iPad until about a week ago (my apologies, I don't know the exact day). She tried to log in, and the Web site took her to the system requirements page.

The weird thing is, her system was fine according to their list. But she updated to the latest iOS (18-something) and then the latest Firefox for iOS 129.0.1 (she doesn't like .0 versions and always waits for .0.1).

She got the same error.

Chase insists that the problem is hers. Personally, I don't trust a corporation that big farther than I can throw their combined offices on the planet. Is anyone else getting this problem?

Again, I am not looking for a fix at the moment, just looking to find out if the problem really is in her set.

For some reason I don’t have the option to add payment cards on my browser using the latest version on iOS.

Can someone explain or help me achieve this as it’s pretty annoying having to dig my card out or switch to safari.

I used to browse on Firefox on my iPhone, and when I wanted to delve into a tiny page I would send it to my computer's Firefox. That capability seems to have gone away. Is there still a way to do that? I have tried turning Desktop Site on but that doesn't seem to do anything. Help!

HI, I have a Mac with El Capitan OS and Firefox 78.15.0esr. Recently I can´t open some websites: ChatGPT, Likendin, TunnelBear, Wester Union, etc. Before everything was working perfect. Please HELP! Thanks friends :) When I try to open this website, nothing happens, nor an error, sometimes in certain website it keeps retrieving and thats it.

Why do they keep moving or removing this functionality? I can’t figure out how to send a tab to another device. There’s no option anymore on the “…” menu and I don’t see where else it could be.

Does anyone know how to do this on the new version of the iOS app?

Hi, I have moved to a new iPhone. I have got the Firefox app transferred over and have tried to synchronise having clicked the synchronise button. However, despite doing this several times only a handful of sign ins have come across. I have enabled facial recognition. I have on some occasions had a Firefox message screen come up: ‘To use the autofill feature for Firefox you must have a device passcode enabled’. I have tried googling this and am no better informed.

I have v138.1 and tab groups are not working. When I try and put one over another to create a group, it just sides away. I read this feature would be available on v137 and up after 5/6/25🤷🏼‍♂️

I recently started using a iPhone 14. I can’t seem to get your browser to autofill credit card info on websites. I have searched and it says to turn it on under settings, privacy, autofill. There is no autofill option under privacy.

自分はiPadでFirefoxを使用しています。以前は常時画面左上にホームページに飛べるボタン（事前に設定したURLに飛べる家の形をしたボタン）があり、大変快適だったのですが、最近のアップデートによってUIが変更され、そのボタンが消えてしまいました。これによってかなりこのアプリは不便になり困っています。また、常時画面右上にあったブックマークしたリンクが並べてあるところにアクセスできる星型のボタンも消えてしまいました。これは運営が意図した変更なのでしょうか？他のユーザーもこの変更には困っていると思います。もしよろしければ、以前のようなUIに戻していただきたいです。また、これは要望になりますが、ブックマークしたリンクが並んでいるタブを開いてブックマークしたURLにアクセスしたときに、それを押してもそのブックマークタブが画面から一旦消えることなく恒常的に画面に表示されるようにしていただきたいです。そして、sprit viewを使用しているときにブックマークタブからブックマークしたURLに飛ぶとき、一旦そのブックマークタブを閉じないとサイトをスワイプしたりタップすることができなくなるような仕様にはしないでいただきたいです。常にブックマークタブが画面のどこかに表示され、常に画面に出して置けるようにUIを改善していただきたいです。よろしくお願いします。

I got a bill for Mozilla on my PayPal. PayPal says it’s an auto billing. I didn’t sign up for anything like that from Mozilla. If I want a Mozilla service, I’d like to be asked to sign up again or to continue. I don’t wanna be on any kind of auto billing of any sort. I never intended to do that!! Please explain..

With version 124 of Firefox, the ‘Dark Mode’ theme no longer works. Whether I set the theme to “Use System Light/Dark Mode” or if I manually set the theme to dark, it still always shows ‘light’ mode. FYI, my iPad settings are set to ‘Dark’ mode.

I prefer to read white text on a black background - much easier on the eyes! In earlier releases of Firefox, I was able to enjoy reading stories. Now I must set my iPad (manually whenever I want to use Firefox to read) to ‘Smart Invert’ (which will switch the Firefox window to dark mode), then turn off ‘Smart Invert’ to do anything else on my iPad.

I'm running FF v147.2.1 on my iPhone. There is NO translation option in the address bar OR in settings. It was supposed to be introduced in v146. Why is it not available despite having a version that is supposed to have the feature?

Did you guys really get rid of night mode on iOS app?? And the tap and hold a link to see a small preview page? Those are the two biggest reasons I use Firefox iOS over other browsers- why did these two features go away??

I had been using Firefox on my iPhone for forever. All of a sudden the icon just disappeared, so I can no longer use it as my browser. When I check my apps in Settings, it's there, and checked as my browser, but there's no longer an icon to click on. I went to the app store thinking it had somehow become deleted, and instead of being able to get the app, it just says Open, meaning that it should be on my phone. How do I get the icon back? The way it is now, I can't even delete and re-install it.
