I recently updated to Firefox 130 on my Windows 11 laptop, but my Android 14 device still shows version 129.0.2. When I check "What's New in Firefox" from the Android app, it displays version 130 in the webpage it opens up. Is there a known issue with updating to version 130 on Android, or is it being rolled out in phases? Please advise.

We have a few vulnerabilities identified on windows server 2012 R2 servers that has Firefox version 115.15 installed and showing as Up-to date but resolution to the vulnerabilities suggesting to upgrade to version 128ESR. As support for 115 ESR version is going to end by 1st OCT 2024. Please let us know can we expect 128ESR version for windows server 2012R2? If not what is the next action plan.

Hello, During a recent software update not long ago, I lost my entire Spell Check ability and Dictionary's won't even load anymore. I figure I need to delete the program and reload, but I'm afraid of losing all my folders that have been created over the years of using Thunderbird Mail.

Could someone please explain the procedures for me to delete and reload without losing all my important folders. These folders have years of important emails stored in them.

I installed Thunderbird v128.2.0esr to a new laptop and cannot find the table view/card view icon for configuring the message list and its columns. There is no longer any icon next to the quick filter bar, it seems to be gone in this version.

It stopped working saying can't load xpcom. When trying to download new thunderbird Avast finds a virus although the claim is The file named XUL. DLL is developed by Mozilla Foundation. The program is primarily used by the software XUL Runner. The file is confirmed to be safe because it is supported by the original developer Mozilla and is used by the popular browser Firefox. What will happen if I reconnect Thunderbird to my email account after being disconnected for almost 2 years?

I had to switch ESP's a couple years ago and have been using their web based email platform since, but a recent outage made me realize I should have on off-line platform again, and I really liked Thunderbird.

When I reconnect, will all the emails from the new ESP download to the inbox on Thunderbird all at once?

A recent Thunderbird update (auto update) must've been interrupted, because I keep getting a "Reboot your computer to complete the update" message. I have rebooted many times with no change. I tried to uninstall Thunderbird, but get the same message. I also tried to reinstall it, but no change. The Thunderbird icon has also changed to a computer with a disk in the front. Any ideas??

Hello, I'm on the point of reinstalling MS Windows on my laptop and as part of the process I backed up Thunderbird to a USB stick using your instructions "Moving Thunderbird Data to a new computer".

I have four email addresses, one I've used for probably 15+ years, another for 8 years, and two more recent additions. In copying the data to the USB stick, there are two Trash transfers taking significant time, one for 70%, the other for 6%.

I've looked for the Trash folders on my laptop but can't locate them. I have empty Deleted folders (I'm in the UK so perhaps that's just a terminology difference). Obviously I don't want to have these Trash folders transferred into a fresh copy of Thunderbird after the Windows reinstall.

So my question is how do I delete these Trash folders before I copy the Thunderbird data to the USB stick, and how do I prevent them reoccurring?

Grateful for any help with my problem.

I would like to install Thunderbird on two separate Win7 networked computers and use the same "Thunderbird Data" on a NAS for both. I already use the Data on the NAS for computer number 1, but trying to run Thunderbird on the second computer gives the well-known error "Thunderbird already running..."

Need Help......I am cleaning up a laptop hard drive to free up space and make sure all is up to date, and I have the new version of Thunderbird installed but I cannot uninstall the old version. I keep getting an error message. See attached image.

Since version 122 there is a problem with installing the Szafir SDK Web extension. It is necessary to be able to submit signatures online. After installing version 121, I was able to add the extension. After updating Firefox to version 130, the Szafir SDK Web extension still works, wich is good. The problem is that not everyone will handle it this way.

I tried adding the extension manually, but the same message is always returned. "The add-on cannot be installed because it appears corrupted."

Is there any solution to this problem?

I tried moving the data, but the issue i get when i try to open the Profile Folder in the troubleshooting information window, i get an error message saying the location is not available I added a photo of the error message

I cannot print anything on my computer since this PDF Print appeared. Everything was going along as per normal, now this. How do I get it back to the "normal" situation for me. Receive an email, hit the print button and lo and behold a printed sheet, etc. It is driving me to distraction. I have been using FireFox since whenever, no problems. I'm not too computer savvy but enjoy its use like anyone else. Something I will be able to follow and implement. I have seen a delete article but couldn't get it to do anything for. On Friday 24/09/06, I deleted my thunderbird-profile-file without immediately realizing it. I realized it on Monday 24/09/07, by opening the program and getting an error message. A new profile-file was immediately initialized by the program and also a program-update was made to version 128.2.0esr (32-Bit)). Unfortunately, I do not know the version, I used before the update Using your instructions from the Mozilla knowledge-base, I was able to restore the file-situation, as it was before my mistake killing my profile. Although trying now for three days getting the old data (inbox, sent mails, address book) in the new profile by importing or over writing I didn't have any success. Trying to import old profile-data by the program-tool results in an error message. When overwriting the existing files with the old ones, I get new folders, but they were all empty. After long time of research in your knowledge-base, trying mentioned solutions without success, I suppose that it is no more a question of recreating a knew profile but a question of the program-update made on Monday and a data conflict between the two program versions. I Think the new version cannot handle with the old data. I would like to install the version I used before the update, but do not know whether which version it was nor where I could find an old program-version? Or is there a possibility to manage old data with the new version, and I do not know it? Perhaps you can reconstruct the old program-version by seeing the content in the folders of my old profile-file appended below (explorer screen shot) I would be grateful if You could help me retrieving my old data (Inbox, sent etc.).
