I realize that this may seem trivial, but, while I don’t mind the idea of a home button being accessible on the toolbar, surely it could have been placed in a less inconvenient place. Every time I go to refresh the page I end up on my home page instead. On my desktop, I purposely have the page forward, page back and page refresh separated from my home button. And my home button and bookmark button separated from everything else so as to not inadvertently click on those buttons when I meant to click something else or vice versa. So, while having a home button on the toolbar may seem like a nifty, handy idea, not so if it costs moving the page refresh button from it’s more common placement to an obscure part of the header bar where you are more likely to end up on that pinned tab page or in reader view when trying to refresh. Please put the page refresh back where it was.

For some time, Firefox on iOS will randomly crash when I try to open a link from email or another site, or even when I go to open a new tab. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, but nothing has changed. I’ve now upgraded to iOS 15, and am also using a brand new iPhone 13, but the same issue still occurs. I love Firefox, otherwise, but this is a huge hassle.

I recently noticed that when I fully close the Firefox app and open it up again, a new blank tab is created, instead of opening up to the tab I was on prior to closing the app.

Not a major issue but slightly annoying, having to close a new blank tab whenever I open the app. Thanks!

When I close Firefox and go back in to it, I am presented with a new Home Tab now. This is very bad experience for me. What a productivity killer. I want to go back to my last active tab.

Need a “Startup Tab” option for “Where I left off” or “Specific URL” or “New Home Tab”.

This is horrible. Trying to remember not to close Firefox now, but I am careful… quite addicted… to always closing Apps since Apple lies about battery consumption, and I don’t want “background” apps spying on me in anyway.

Latest update broke usability of Firefox. Firefox no longer remembers which tab I was on before I moved away from it. It’s opening a new tab and don’t even get me started on the button movements.

There should be some minimum usability studies a product must do so that they don’t mess up too badly.

Every time I open the Firefox app the browser opens a new window instead of opening on the window I left off on like it used to. Now I’m wasting time looking for the window I was on. Is there a way to stop this from happening so when I open the app again I can pick up where I left off? If this is a new feature it sucks and we should have the option to turn it off. Please let me know if there is a way to turn this off and how to do it. Thanks for your time and help.

There seems to have been an update and now any time I start Firefox, it opens on a home page with ‘most used links’. I don’t want to see any links; seeing lots is prompts me to waste more time on the internet. I want to see a blank page like when I open a new tab. How do I do that? It seems impossible now.

Everytime I start a Firefox window the first time there is a certain delay, after the the delay Firefox ask me for my master password. That's fine! But if I start Firefox and move to a website which require a password which is stored in the Firefox password manager before the end of the delay, Firefox ask me instant for the master password. The problem is, if I start to enter my master password it often happens, that at the end of the first mentioned delay and in my writing process a second window with the master password opens. Isn't it possible to deactivate the second master password window if there is already one? Would love that feature and would improve my usability experience. Thank you so much, for what you do! There are several sites, on what seems to be an ever growing list, on multiple computers using Firefox ranging from versions 37.0.2 to the latest version that are getting a "Connection reset". (The different versions were used as part of the tests to find if the problem was related to a specific version of Firefox)

I initially thought the problem was related solely to the http vs https access but, whilst trying to access this support site, I found that both the http and https variants returned the same error.

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38

For example, if I go to http://www.staticice.com.au I will get a Connection reset error. If I go to https://www.staticice.com.au the site loads and works fine. The same for http://www.dvdfab.cn and https://www.dvdfab.cn.

What is even more interesting (at least to me), is that if I connect via my VPN, the http variant will load and work fine.

I've worked though the solutions described in the below post but they have not resolved the issue for me.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1056868

There is nothing in my Windows firewall that I've added. I've tried with an empty hosts file, and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled firefox.

I get this message: ""Document Expired

This document is no longer available.

The requested document is not available in Firefox's cache.

As a security precaution, Firefox does not automatically re-request sensitive documents.
Click Try Again to re-request the document from the website.

"" So, after clicking try again 20 times to get back to the page that I could always go back to before, it gets tiresome. Is there a way to have firefox NOT protect my security quite so aggressively, so it WILL automatically re-request the socalled sensitive document? OR which version of firefox will I have to go backto to avoid this hassle? AND is there a way to KEEP that older version? And thisa is not the first time firefox is doing something which is really really annoying formy benefit

This morning on another computer I added some suggested addons in firefox and now when scrolling the page zomms in and out instead of movung down the page. When I tried to ask for help by using the 'Search Mozilla support' it kept bringing up things that were related to shortcuts. I deleted 2 of the addons (I think) - tab developer and highlighter and that solved some other problems that suddenly appeared.
