When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

www.russellmoccasin.com won't load properly on any browser on my macbook pro running Mac OS 15.7.3. I don't have any browser extensions running, I've cleared my browser history, cookies, and cache. Still won't work. When I disabled javascript on safari and firefox, the website loaded perfectly. But I have to have JS running to use almost every other website on the internet, so what gives??

I have Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon in Swedish language/locale. I set up two users with Firefox 146. Then, I upgraded Firefox to 147.0, and set up a third user on the same machine.

For the two original users, the Firefox is in all-Swedish locale. Perfect. But, for my newly created user, some is in English. Examples in English; Onboarding, Search in Privacy, and New Tab/Shortcuts. Web pages is no problem. The problem is in Firefox proper.

Strangely, New Tab is in Swedish (Ny flik), if I do not use the shortcuts, i.e. chose Empty new page in Settings. How to fix? Minor annoyance, but I would like everything in Swedish, as in v. 146. Is it a bug that will be fixed by Mozilla, or do I have to do anything to fix it myself, or is it un-fixable? Or, is it maybe anything in Linux? I understand it is some changes between 146 and 147 regarding a couple of rather important things. Thanks. >>> System:

With the latest update to Firefox, 147.0.1, our test suites run with the extension, Selenium IDE, has errors, "Failed:n.createEvent(...).initKeyEvent is not a function". I am running the latest version of Selenium IDE. Installing the previous version of FF has no errors. What is the solution?

Today following a brief power outage I was no longer able to sign in to AOL with Firefox on my desktop computer. I am able to sign in to all other apps with no problem. I tried clearing my cache, restarted Firefox, restarted my computer and spent 30 minutes on remote desktop access assistance with AOL trying to fix the problem with no success. I can log in to my account using Chrome on the desktop computer and can log in with no problem using my Android phone but can't log in using my desktop computer with Firefox. I've verified that my Firefox version is updated. I am running Windows 11 Pro.

I would greatly appreciate any helpful advice.

can not resolve repeated problem : "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Cánt not find "Refresh"

I have the latest version of Firefox. I still keep getting the prompts to download the latest version. When I go to system info, it shows I have the latest version it is asking me to download. When I do a manual search for the latest version, it always says it failed to search for the latest download.

Is there some way to open all tabs on a synced device. I have the list of tabs showing in the sidebar. However, the instruction: "While viewing synced tabs in Sidebar, right clicking on device name allows you to open all tabs from a device at once." does not work. Right clicking does nothing. Firefox has been my browser of choice for well over 20 years. I have a game I play every day (from FaceBook) just this week when I try to go to it on my laptop - it says your browser does not support WebGL. it has always opened using Firefox - this is a new error message. and the computer is only 5 months old and has Windows 11 on it. I do not want to switch to Google or Edge.

Like I said - opening the app worked every day up until about a week ago. What gives?
