Frequently when I chose to close all tabs in Firefox, Firefox crashes. This happens independent of how many tabs I have open. When I close all tabs, this happens 40-50% of the time.

I've been using Firefox on my phone for about half a year, rarely updating the browser. I did it first time approximately 2 weeks ago and since then it started to crash frequently. The latest update hasn't resolved the issue.

Setup: - galaxy S23+ - latest Android version (13) - Firefox version 121.0.1 (Build #2015995071), fd4d251332+ GV: 121.0.1-20231230165955 AS: 121.0

I have more than 100+ tabs opened with a setting activated "Close tab: Never" and "Move old tabs to inactive". Has several plugins installed: - Ghostery - Decentraleyes - Search by Image - uBlock Origin - ClearURLs

I usually visit 5-10 websites a day, having multiple opened tabs to read later. Sometimes when I open a new tab, open the page, start scrolling, the browser slows down and then crashes. It doesn't show any error, just shuts down the app so I have to open it again.

Firefox for Andoird crashes every time tab listing opened. If I do "about:crashes" i see the attached list of crashes ...

"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException..."

Version is 130.0 (Build 2016041319)

I tried clearing cache but it didn't help.

Very often when clicming the adress bar (almost always on sites like old.reddit.com, the app just stops responding and I must reopen it. I'd like a solution that won't involve removing all my bookmarks, history and saved data.

Youtube won't work anymore. I've been watching youtube for years and now on Firefox and now it won't work anymore. For months now it keeps saying "Gah. Your tab just crashed". I've tried many things to fix but nothing works. Really annoying. Is it time for me to stop using firefox?

After updating Firefox for Android, my phone started rebooting after downloading any file. This makes it very difficult to use the browser and I had to use Chrome temporarily. The Crashes tab in About Firefox is empty. My Firefox on my iPad alsways crashes when I try to select a synched tabs from another Firefox on a different device. The tabs from the other devices show up and the sync is always up to date, but the windows does not react on any interaction, instead the Browser crashes after about 1 minute of inresponsiveness and returns to the home screen of my iPad. I already discenneted and reconnected the Firefox account used for sync on this browser, it did not help. I use the same Firefox version on my iPhone and that does not have this issues, selecting tabs from other devices works as intended.

Firefox version: 114.3 (31916) iPad OS: 16.5.1 (did not work in iPadOS 16.5. either)

Poco F2 Pro is hard crashing requiring device reboot, starting maybe a week ago, and has happened three times. I don't know if it's hardware related but I've not seen the behaviour in other apps. I'm not using beta version.

okay, so: this has only been an issue since i updated to iOS 16.5. i can open firefox for iOS without issue, and i think if i just tapped into the search bar that might be fine? (unclear.) but what i know is that as soon as i try to type in the search bar, the app crashes! how can i fix this?

I've noticed an issue with Firefox iOS where, if Firefox silently crashes and I open a new tab by doing a long press on the iOS home screen, then selecting New Tab, Firefox only opens that new tab and does not restore the previous session and all previously loaded tabs are gone.

That has happened to me multiple times now and I've had to then try and figure out which tabs I had open by going through the browser history, which is pretty annoying.

To prevent that, I'm pretty much not using the long press > new tab functionality at all anymore and instead I open the app first, then open a new tab. Sometimes, I'll open the app, and if the app crashes, THEN I'm asked if I want to restore the session. Then I have to make sure to not accidentally press NO cause it seems there's no way to get that session back afterwards.

I would suggest a few ideas to prevent this issue: - please offer a setting to auto-restore previous sessions after a crash, instead of asking - alternatively, if pressing NO, or opening a new tab from the homescreen with a long press, offer a way to restore a previous session somewhere on the new tab page

Hello, I have had issues with multiple crashes with Firefox for I Os, now when I try to access my xfinity email, I get the to and from but not the body of the email. I updated Firefox and rebooted my iPhone but still the same results.

1. Open the Firefox for Android application 2. Either browse around first, download something beforehand, or do it right at the start, go to the 'three dot' menu on the top right screen and select the 'Downloads' section. 3. The application will freeze without opening the section and after a while will say 'Firefox not responding' before crashing.

Constantly crashes with the latest 3 updates. Not sure if it's on your end or the providing web sites not knowinghow to program for Android phones.

    Too many non standard screen resolutions out there for each phone???

Ever since my IPad updated to iOS 17 I have had issues with Firefox crashing. I currently have iOS17.2 which fixed some other issues but not this issue. When it crashes and I go back in it will ask if I want to restore tabs, if I say no, then I get a new clean tab. However, the next time it crashes (which it will) and it asks to restore tabs, it restores tabs from the first time it crashed, not the current tabs I was on. I have deleted and reinstalled Firefox but it still crashes. And when I say it crashes it does it extensively, every time I go on Firefox. I’m sorry I don’t know the version of Firefox I have nor the operating system.

Hello everyone

I'm at a loss. FF for iOS (iPhone 7) keeps crashing every few days (no other apps have similar problems). It then asks to restore tabs from the last session, which mostly works, but every few weeks, all tabs are lost (about 20..50 total). In history menu, open tabs from last session is greyed out. When the tabs are are lost, they're also instantly purged from FF sync. >:(

I'd love to use FF on iPhone, since I'm using FF sync extensively and successfully on multiple PCs. But on iPhone, FF only causes me pain and suffering (i.e. the need to comb through months of history in the hopes of catching all lost tabs). Is there anything I can do that FF on this platform gets more reliable?

It seems, the more connected we get, the more data we lose. :(
