When I select "bookmark this tab", in the Firefox browser, I used to get the window allowing you to choose where to put the new bookmark. This 'bookmark location' window no longer appears so you don't know where the bookmark has gone. Prior to now, this feature has always worked fine.

I quit Firebox and reopened it but the problem remains.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 (64 bit) (the most current vers.) on a Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.3. I switched from Chrome to Firefox on this new Mac.

when i go to manage bookmarks i can go to views and sort them by last added, how do i make it, so that when i go to the bookmark drop down menu from the top of the screen so also list the bookmarks in order of last added?

Apprantly Firefox updated last night. I still show all the names of my bookmarks but NONE of them have any information in them. Probably lost my passwords too.

Tried all the fixes shown in prior posts. This is unacceptable !

In the past when I reinstalled Windows and then Firefox, I would sign into my account and all my bookmarks/addons etc. would automatically get reinstalled. Today I had to reinstall Windows and when I logged into my firefox account, nothing happened. Does Mozilla no longer keep these settings for us? I don't have any other devices to sync off of and never have, so where did all those settings come from when I did previous reinstalls?

Why does my tool bar disappear after typing in website in search bar? Book marks appear when I open a new window, however as soon as I type something in the search bar or click on a website the book marks disappear. I have to open a new window for them to reappear again. I didn't change any settings, it happened on it's own. I've added a screen shot for when I open a new window (book marks appear) and a screen shot for when I've typed something in the search bar (book marks disappear). Thank you!

Using YouTube for example...

Previously, when I bookmarked a page/video (URL), if the newly bookmarked page (URL) had previously been visited, the bookmark would be displayed in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a typical "YouTube Play Button" icon (favicon). But, if the newly bookmarked page (URL) has never been visited, then the bookmark would be displayed in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a default "Globe" icon (favicon).

I almost always create bookmarks by dragging links/URLs from the browser client area to a folder in the bookmarks list in the sidebar (and sometimes/rarely, to a folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar). But the same happens if I manually create a new bookmark to a "Visited" or "Un-visited" page.

Recently, this behavior just changed "without notice"...

Now, when I drag a link/URL from a the "Recommended videos column" on the right side of a YouTube page/video, to the bookmarks list in the sidebar, the bookmark is ALWAYS displayed in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a typical "YouTube Play Button" icon (favicon), regardless of whether the page had previously been visited, or not. Also, existing bookmarks for un-visited pages that were previously created, and were previously displayed in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a default "Globe" icon (favicon), are now displayed in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a typical "YouTube Play Button" icon (favicon).

How can I bring back the previous behavior of displaying bookmarks of un-visited pages/URLs in the Sidebar (or Toolbar) with a default "Globe" icon (favicon)?

My bookmarks disappear when I click on them or they don't open at all. - please see attached images - I've already cleared the cache and restored the bookmarks three times but everything remains the same. I copy the exactly same link to Chrome and everything is working, therefore, it has nothing to do with the possibility of the addresses being corrupted. Can someone help me on this one? Firefox 119.0 (64-bit) iMac 24 M1 - Ventura 13.6

Wanted to export some bookmarks, and couldn't figure out why (latest Firefox) Bookmarks "Library" was missing relevant buttons/menus. (Screenshots attached.)

After testing, found they actually are there, but have have almost no contrast vs background - that is when "Manage Bookmarks" is called from a Private window. But things look fine when called from a Standard window. (No extensions; same in Safe Mode.)

Can anyone advise?

A simple workaround is to bring a standard window to the front first, but am curious if this is Firefox on all systems? Only FF Linux? Only the particular (default) settings of my Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon installation, and display? Not even sure a Bookmark management window is ever meant to assume the theme of the foreground window (here Private browsing's dark).

Hi there, I recently downgraded Firefox on my Android (5.1.1), as the new versions of the app became to get heavy.

I have logged in with my Account and am now trying to get the bookmarks synced. I have no Desktop right now to pair. The bookmarks and the Account are only available on my iPad, where FF is logged in and has the bookmarks synced.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks for any help and regards, Dan

Please help me restore my bookmarks and history - the update seems to have wiped everything clean. PLUS I have multiple Firefox icons appearing in my dock. MacBook Pro.

Is there a way to display a column in the bookmark manager (Ctrl+Shift+O) which would show in which folder each particular bookmark is?

Is there a way to search for bookmarks (in the bookmark manager or the bookmark sidebar (Ctrl+B)) by specifically excluding certain (bookmark) folders (e.g. MySessions, Save for Read Later, BSP2 trash folder, etc)?

If the above is not available, please kindly consider those ever since important features.

Hi - I just reset my PC and trying to restore Firefox. I saved the default release folder (qejikze4.default-release-1669319412153) which contains the latest bookmarks in the "bookmarkbackups" folder. I tried to just replace the bookmark file in the new install (how I previously transfered them), but I can't find the files in the latest V.120 version. Any suggestions on how I can do it?

What has happened to all of my Task Bar / Tool Bar? As of today, Sunday Nov. 26th, everything is gone. In addition the browser itself looks "different" some how.
