My Thunderbird is nearly useless with this update. It has incredibly small type. How do I change it? The Theme and Font extension is disabled by the new version. I think there needs to be a built in font extension that works on every release. I can barely read these subject lines. It's not acceptable. I just donated to Thunderbird. This is a must-have extension for me. Also several other extentions don't work. There needs to be some way of informing people if their extensions will work. I wouldn't have updated if I had known. Your program will flounder if you don't address the issue. Hence forth I'll be reluctant to update. That will potentially be a problem down the line, so I may have to consider changing my email programs. Email is nothing without readability.Also why does it take forever for a jpeg to upload here? I have very fast internet backbone. I use this at work.

Makes tracking emails difficult. The attached screenshot shows new emails that have come in since 11:20. I have not opened any of them but they appear as if they have been read and there's no indication in the "inbox" that I have new email. If I manually mark them as "unread" then they show up in bold and the counter works. No problems with the other two accounts. I have even deleted the account giving me trouble and set it back up to no avail. Using Mac TBird, OS 10.12.6.

basic problem is described in subject line. I could gripe endlessly about prior disclosure, and how appalling it is to see this problem persist over several versions, but mostly I'm curious how it does not seem to have been asked / answered yet?
I will upload screencaps if needed, but I am going to a banking website, entering UID & password, and telling FF to update the password. Not only does it not update for that UID, instead putting it into the "no username" storage for this website, but it is storing asterisks (in the same amount as the actual password) instead of the password. Yes, I clicked on the little "eye" next to the password field under Tools.Options.Privacy .. and yes, I tried trusting and just using the stored password both for the UID (it kept the old password) and also for the "no username" and neither works. I can update the password manually when under Tools.Options.Privacy, but I do not have the time nor inclination to do this for hundreds of logins.
This is entirely unacceptable, and needs to be fixed post haste.
Now copying and pasting everything I typed here, because I fully expect that I'll click "Post Question" and all will be lost...

I have Thunderbird in different computers and in each of them there is a different whitelist of emails and sits for displaying remote content. I wish that my computers would share that list so to have the same behavior in all of them (i.e. versus keep entering emails and websites over and over again). I learned that the information is stored in the two sqlite files listed in the title, so I thought it would be a good idea to have them in a shared storage and create pointers in each computer (i.e., ln -s ...). However, I am afraid that this might break other things since I am not sure what else depends from those files. A plus of doing it is that one could save the whitelist and not have to enter manually for every new installation.

I've been using the extension Screengrab! for years, and still have it installed (v2.18), but it seems to have disappeared from the add-ons repository without trace. How do I find out if the author has retired it or if Mozilla have acted over some security fear? The extension still seems to be available in the Chrome web store (can't see a version number). Screengrab! had tens of thousands of users and had been updated for web extensions (although with some loss of functionality) so it seems strange for it to just disappear.
