Hello, "desktop view" is very useful, and I use it for LinkedIn because the "mobile mode" is shitty (I guess to make/force people to install the proprietary and closed source LinkedIn app).

I found that "desktop view" is stopping working while activated, when you always keep a tab opened for days... I have to close the tab and open a new one to make "desktop view" working again.

I found too that "open in a new tab" action is not inheriting the view mode of the parent tab and that an issue when browsing the same website.

Could it be possible to have "desktop view" enable by default based on visited website?

What's up with this? Two fake Trust Wallet add-ins were disabled within the last couple of days after one stole my money and I reported it, and another similar one. They had been pinned to my toolbar and they were subsequently taken off from there with the message that they had violated Mozilla's policies. Now I see that again there are two of them. How can this be prevented? The most obvious sign that these are fake is when one goes to create a new wallet the add-in directs the user to import instead, i.e. it wants to steal private information like recovery phrase.

It nags me, that I ain't asked if I want the AI function, you just force it over me without giving me any choice, if I want it..

SO, how to COMPLETELY remove the AI function in Firefox and Linux Ubuntu..

New day, new glitch. Since the inception of weather showing on the Firefox landing page, it has accurately shown my location. Today, it is not only not my city, it is in another state. It also does not respond to my making a correction with my zip code. Can we expect a correction any time soon?

I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps. I initially used the K-9 email client and switched to Thunderbird sometime last year. For almost a year now, I haven't received any notifications from Thunderbird when new emails arrive, which I believe worked initially.

Then new emails weren't displayed at all; I had to manually refresh my inboxes and folders. A recent update seems to have fixed at least this issue, as new emails are now available when I open my inboxes. However, I still don't receive any notifications.

I have also checked the notifications settings and the permissions, it is always mentioned that the "Alarms and reminders" permission is required, but I don't have this permission. Reinstall the app and reconfigure from the Windows Thunderbird didn't helped as well.

Specs: Phone is a OnePlus 8 Pro OxigenOS 13.1 Android 13

Any help is very welcome; I don't want to reset the device hoping it will work, only to find out that it didn't help.

In the section: "Select text to see suggested prompts" there is a screenshot which shows pre-written prompts and a textbox from the shortcut for AI prompts menu. Is it possible to have custom promts which are added to this menu?

My browser is not working as it should. Several sites do not work anymore and the browser keeps crashing. I'd like to refresh the browser, but the button is missing. I tried going to troubleshooting mode, but the button is not there either.

Not sure if uninstalling would do the same thing? Just not sure what is the best way to refresh. Thanks for any help!

I don't like threaded conversations view. I turned it off so my inbox doesn't show it any more, but search results do and I find it impossible to find what I need. Is it possible to turn off ALL of those threading features across the entire program? Thanks

In other browsers when I add extensions, I can open an extension panel, or got the the browsers installed extensions section, and edit open up my extension setting pages, and edit them. For example uBlock Origin, but there are others. It doesn't seem possible to do such a thing with Firefox. Is that on purpose or is something wrong?

Out of nowhere I got the sidebar today. An absolutely useless feature that I surely did not ask for. And there is no way of closing or removing it. Please provide a guide, to removing or hiding it PERMANENTLY!

I'm running Thunderbird 128.2.0esr (64-bit) on a Windows 11 PC. I can't find any way to associate a *.log file with notepad, even though this is the my windows default.

• Other file types work fine
• But Notepad isn't in the list when I double-click the file and I have to browse for it every time.
• When setting the default for another file type, it said this could be changed in "Options". I have Settings, but not Options. Under Menu > Settings > General, it has "Files & Attachments". Under this there are 2 columns: Content Type and Action. The only thing listed is Portable Document Content (PDF) and no way to add anything.* Bulleted list item

I just started with Firefox browser on my iPad. No where in the menu or Home Screen is there a print icon. Does anybody use Firefox on iOS and learned how to print??
