I am trying to sign into my Proton mail account. On the Thunderbird app, I tap the Menu and select Settings. Then, I select Add account, type my Proton email address, and tap Next. The "Configuration found" screen is displayed. I proceed to type my Proton password correctly and tap Next. Then, there is an error that says "Checking incoming server settings failed". Does this mean Thunderbird does not fully support Proton mail?

Yahoo Mail settings. When I use Yahoo Mail with Thunderbird for Android, the folder structure is displayed in English. I want everything to be shown in German. Everything works correctly with Gmail; this is only a problem with Yahoo Mail. I've set everything to German in my Yahoo account, but it's still displayed in English in the app.

What can I do?

Hi, Please, with thunderbird for Android on my Samsung s21, i would like to unify all my emails on a unic inbox Windows. I have allready check the unify fonction in the "parameters". But i don't have any result. On the my computer, everything is ok. But i don't succeed on my phone... I hope you are understanding my question cause my english is horrible. Thank's in advance. Best

I have a Windows 11 pro laptop with 66,000 emails in the inbox on Thunderbird. Most of those emails have been long since been deleted from the gmail server to stay within account limits.

I have a new Oneplus 13 phone running Android 16 which has the Thunderbird app (version 14). I setup the profile and it has loaded the emails currently on the gmail server. I would like to load all 66,000 emails currently saved on the laptop.

I copied the laptop Thunderbird email inbox file to a USB-C flash drive thinking I could copy that file onto the Android. Unfortunately, I learned that Android since version 11 or so limits access to its data files. My phone is not rooted so I don't have access and am unable to copy the inbox files into the androids Thunderbird storage file.

Is there a way to copy old emails from the desktop Thunderbird to Android?

Is there anyway I can shift all my folders,storage and local from my pc to my tablet at the same time as I load the app? In otherwords I want exactly the same email situation on my tablet as that is now on my pc .I wish to ditch my obsolete pc. Perhaps someone can steer me in the right direction.

Dramatic change in version 11.0: It's hard to distinguish read vs unread using system theme with android 15 dark mode. It's almost as difficult to distinguish selected vs not selected. This was fine until the last update.

Can we PLEASE have the ability to use/customize account icon photos on Thunderbird Android, instead of just the letters/text of the account name??? Being able to use/have photos there helps more with which account we're looking at! For example, with me, all my accounts start with "LI" 😅🫠🙃 so having the photo icons IN ADDITION to the color options would be GREAT!!!!! 😁🙏🙏 Attaching photo of what I'm talking about. I was in Sweden and got the Skånetrafiken App on my mobile. Now I have a steady stream of Swedish Scam emails that go direct to my inbox. I have been reporting them but they keep coming daily. What can I do?

my password. I did it and now I have to update my various programs and apps to the new password to access my emails, but the Thunderbird mail program that runs on my smartphone (Redmi Note 13) doesn't allow me to change my password. It almost seems like I have to delete the account and add it again from scratch. Is it absolutely necessary or is there an alternative system?

I can't read my mails and every time i open Thunderbird i get told that my registration failed and i have 3 Options to choose "try again", "enter new password" and "cancel". Doesnt matter ehich one I choose i can't read my mails or receive any and the same message and the same options pop up again.

For many years I have been using my Windows 10 with Thunderbird and a cell phone. Something happened when I updated Thunderbird on my laptop three few weeks ago. No emails go to my S23. Can someone please help me? I downloaded current Thunderbird version to my laptop. Problem might be being asked by Micros for my account email and password going back many years and I have not clue what it is. There is a chance Microsoft as blocked me from changing though I have no clue how to restart with them. April will be 3 years since I purchased my S23 and everything was good prior to me changing my Thunderbird password. Please help me.

Thunderbird does not import current messages from Gmail, it lags several hours behind. For example, Gmail will show new messages arriving at 9 am but Thunderbird shows most recent messages arriving at 12 am. I have checked settings and it seems like syncing is set correctly. Google Pixel 9a, Android v16.
