I cannot access www.amazon.com via the desktop version of Firefox 136.06! I can access amazon.com using my Android phone version 136.02.

Nothing in the Windows 10(64bit) OS or the Firewall is set to Block Amazon and my VPN is not set to Block Amazon. I do not know when this issue began or which Firefox Update may have caused it. See the screen capture attached!

A number of important (to me), websites (pension and wages) ask for login details, including password, pin and in some cases using 2FA, will not still allow me access. I have tried changing the passwords etc. However, this seems only to allow access one time only. I am entering the passwords correctly and other info but I can not consitantly access the web pages. I do not use google or Bing search, only Firefox and Duck Duck Go. The last time I was able to use the passwords etc freely was around mid December 2024. I have searched for probable cause and remedy but all to no avail. If I try to access on my iPhone or tablet I can access some but not all. I did have Dashlane on my PC and laptop but have since deleted it. It was not on phone or tablet.

Any advice or help please?

I'm trying to switch from Chrome to Firefox after getting pissed off that Chrome removed Unblock Origin. I'm using Ubuntu 24.04.

My Yubikey worked on the snap version of Firefox but I got rid of the snap version because it was consuming 40% CPU to use Google Meet. The apt version uses less CPU, but now my U2F keys don't work. Any website that says "Touch security key", touching the security key does nothing. No feedback whatseover.

What gives?

This is a horrible UX. Installing a browser and having it work optimally out of the box should be a one click thing.

When I'm trying to use critical services here in Sweden,I just experience bad compatibility. In wich is the same as if they don't work.

Since that many goverment services nowdays only communicate with Swedish citizens. But hower I could use this services in the past ( in older versions).

What's not working is: 1.Skatteverket.se ( Swedish local tax agency) 2.Kronofogden.se ( Swedish bailiff agency) 3.Minmyndighetspost.se ( Swedens offical goverment mailbox, administrated buy skatteverket)

What all this services have in common a service called CGI. However since all of this services is depending on BankID( www.bankid.com). So I don't whenever there is some conflict between BankID,or some security conflict ( related to security patches).

I also know whenever my local cookie setting may affect. Since I'm in Icognito mode - and set Custom Cookie settings ( disable 3: rd party cookies). However I could use this services with the same settings without any issues.

Since I've also have updated, because my bank didn't support older versons. Anyway it's still the same.

I cannot log into websites that use CloudFlare as their CDN. ChatGPT gave me a laundry list of things to check, and after exhausting that list, I decided that the great developers at Mozilla might be able to steer me in the right direction. Below is what ChatGPT suggested:

I asked:

> When trying to log into any resource that uses the CloudFlare CDN I get the following response: > > Icon for givewp.comgivewp.com > > Verify you are human by completing the action below. > givewp.com needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding. > Ray ID: 90067ba77ed70ff1 > Performance & security by Cloudflare > > After checking if I am human or not, the login proc fails with no error message and then just presents the captcha again. > > This only occurs when I attempt to login to resources that use the CloudFlare CDN. > > Is this a known issue with CloudFlare. If it is, is there a known solution to the issue?

ChatGPT replied:

> Experiencing a recurring CAPTCHA verification loop when attempting to access websites utilizing Cloudflare's security services is a known issue that can arise due to various factors. To address this problem, consider the following steps: > > Disable Browser Extensions: Certain browser extensions, particularly those related to privacy, security, or ad-blocking, may interfere with Cloudflare's verification process. Temporarily disable these extensions to determine if they are the cause. > > For Firefox: > Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner. > Select "Add-ons and themes". > Disable the relevant extensions. > > Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Accumulated cache and cookies can sometimes lead to verification issues. Clearing them may resolve the problem. > > For Firefox: > Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner. > Select "Settings" > "Privacy & Security". > Scroll to "Cookies and Site Data" and click "Clear Data". > > Update Your Browser: Ensure that your browser is up to date, as outdated versions may have compatibility issues with certain security features. > > For Firefox: > Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner. > Select "Help" > "About Firefox". > Firefox will check for updates and install them automatically. > > Check Browser Settings: Ensure that JavaScript is enabled and that your browser is configured to accept cookies, as disabling these can impede the verification process. > > For Firefox: > Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner. > Select "Settings" > "Privacy & Security". > Ensure that "Enhanced Tracking Protection" is set to "Standard" and that cookies are enabled. > > Try Incognito or Private Browsing Mode: Accessing the website in incognito mode can help determine if the issue is related to browser settings or extensions, as this mode typically runs without extensions and uses default settings. > > For Firefox: > Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner. > Select "New Private Window". > > Avoid Using VPNs or Proxies: Some VPNs or proxy servers can trigger security challenges. If you're using one, try disconnecting it to see if the issue persists. > > Check Your IP Address: Occasionally, certain IP addresses may be flagged by security systems. Restarting your router can assign a new IP address, potentially resolving the issue. > > Contact Website Support: If the problem continues, consider reaching out to the website's support team for further assistance. > > Implementing these steps should help resolve the CAPTCHA loop issue you're encountering. If the problem persists, it may be indicative of a more complex issue requiring further investigation.

For some time now I have not been able to access any website secured with Captcha verification. My browser doesn't recognize that I'm a human and keeps going back to square one. Importantly: this problem does not occur in other browsers. However, I would prefer to stay with Mozilla, so it will be nice if something can be done with it. I didn't change any settings, I didn't change hardware, I didn't reinstall Mozilla, so that's not the problem. I've looked through my security settings and don't see anything that would help in this case. Especially since these are websites that I had previously accessed and logged in without any problems.
