To sign into Chatgbt I used my google account. Mozilla asks me "do I want to store info in persistent storage?" I click "learn more" about persistent storage. It takes me to a page that has zero mention of the words "persistent storage". That is a huge UX error. It says to me that really, you don't want me to know about persistent storage, and prefer that I remain confused and feel forced to agree to things I may not really want to, because you're making it difficult to understand what's actually involved. Not cool. Definitely now considering changing my browser after over 20 years.

I've been a very long time Firefox user, and have for many years been aghast at how prominently Firefox promotes a virulently antisemitic paper called "The Guardian" on its recommended stories. Every time I see it, I thumbs it down, and have been doing so for years, hoping that eventually the algorithm would stop recommending that junk to me. I have NEVER clicked a link to "The Guardian" from the recommended stories page either, not even once. I'll often see 2-3 links from this virulently antisemitic paper and thumb each one down. Why does the algorithm keep recommending it to me? I know that I can turn off Recommended stories, however I like the content, and have found a lot of interesting stuff through it. Why is Firefox relentlessly pushing Nazis propaganda?

(If you don't think The Guardian pushes virulently antisemitic Nazi propaganda, I would be happy to share links demonstrating how it does exactly that, but since this is a new account, I don't want the algorithm to think I'm spamming.)

thank you for your time & expertise:) Can you please help me understand what would happen if firefox stops supporting windows 7 users. Will i still be able to use the browser - just with less security? I will probably have to give up using a computer if I cant continue with Windows 7 so I'd even be prepared to pay an annual fee to keep the support going. Greetings, I have a problem with Firefox taking too long to load websites after login, while Edge loads websites immediately. It happens every time I lift the laptop lid and login. I have restarted Windows 11 and tested the load times of Firefox and Edge a while ago by going to Google. Edge loaded Google after 5 seconds, while Firefox 3 minutes and 25 seconds. That's long. Sometimes Firefox loads a webpage 10 minutes after login.

What could be the issue here and how do I fix it? I have the following extensions and I'm sure that they do not hinder Firefox.

At the top of my settings it says: Information: Your browser is being managed by your organization.

What does this mean? It's my personal laptop, I bought it myself and I don't work for any organization.

some site's pages are cut off leaving 1 side of the screen unviewable. it doesn't matter if you're in portrait or horizontal either, & it happens in desktop mode & mobile view. i can't find any work around this & it's just so frustrating! there's also "nothing" at all in the help topics! has anyone had this issue? thanx so much for any help!

Updating the old question I have as I have attached more detailed information.

Same profile existing in Thunderbird and one is taking up 100 GB space. The Cloud station folder was setup before, and I have no history of it, it might be a shared drive, I don't know why it takes up 100 gb of space and it has a same copy on the Users profile with lesser storage around 33 gb. Can somebody help, i'm not deleting any profiles cause I don't want to accidentally delete emails and the profile has emails older than 2020.

I need to free up some space on this machine without losing the emails as disk is getting full because of this problem.
