I am using Firefox 129.0.1 on a Windows 11 laptop and the three dots do not appear on the shortcut tiles when I hover over any of them. I have checked online documentation and it still describes using the three dots to add, edit or remove a tile. Am I missing something? Help would be most appreciated.

Hi, out of nowhere my Firefox has stopped loading any pages for the past hour. I have read the existing community articles and cleared all of my history, cache, cookies, and restarted my computer 4 times. Firefox is up to date and was working fine up until I left my computer and returned to it an hour ago. I haven't downloaded anything new or clicked anything weird, I was just listening to a regular podcast this morning. All websites either show up as left-aligned text with no images, or are completely blank. This includes Gmail, Tumblr, Youtube, EyeBuyDirect, etc. All of these sites load perfectly in Edge so the issue is specific to Firefox. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit to Update: I turned off my AdBlock extensions one by one to narrow down the issue. The problem was AdBlocker Ultimate. I disabled it and now all my websites in Firefox are working as normal.

Hi, Most of the time when I search, the engine automatically used is Bing and not Google. This is despite setting Google as default.

Is this an annoying bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

I'm experiencing an issue with the search bar on the Firefox homepage. When I click into the search field and begin typing, the cursor jumps to the address bar, and the text I’m entering gets redirected there instead of staying in the search bar.

I've checked my search settings, and everything seems to be in order. I’ve also tried disabling add-ons, but the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this problem?

I use Mozilla Firefox for work. Part of my work requires I use the GlobalProtect VPN client. When I log on to the VPN, everything appears to be fine. The problem arises when I log out of the VPN client, such as needing to switch to a different VPN.

When I log out of the VPN client, Mozilla slows down massively. I get the following errors when trying to access websites.

PR_END_OF_FILE Timeout

I thought it was a DNS issue, but the change I made previously did not prove to be a reliable fix, and I do not actually know the root cause of what is happening. Firefox returns to normal ONLY after a full computer restart. At this point I am considering switching browsers as, despite Firefox's functionality, it is starting to interfere with my work.

I have used other VPNs, such as Fortigate VPN, and not encountered anything like this.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

After my Windows 10 laptop being in sleep mode I found my background picture changed and all my Firefox tabs missing (while my bookmarks, add-ons, history etc. saved, and all other apps functioning properly). Recently Closed Windows menu was inactive and using Restore option in Library had no effect (despite availability of recent saves).

I found out that Mozilla folder was just missing in %appdata% (e.g. Profile Folder in about:support leaded to a non-existent directory). No manual changes to Firefox settings/data were made and no new profiles created.

What might be the problem and are there any ways to restore my tabs?

Hi there! My linux crashed and I only have an access to the terminal now. I'm trying to save login information and bookmarks that were saved in the browser. I didn't use an account. So I'm trying to find a location in the linux system where it was saved. I used 'find' command with key words 'mozilla' and 'firefox' to find possible locations but I'm not sure that I covered everything. Maybe someone here knows exactly where I should look. I have 2 laptops, one for work and one personally. I was looking to set-up firefox on my personal laptop as well but noticed I cannot open developer console on a specific element by pressing 'q' anymore after right clicking.

This is a significant feature and I would like to keep using it. Is it possible to enable this feature on my personal computer as well? Since it is still enabled on my work device.

Every time I try to change the resolution of YouTube videos, it only provides 360p as an option, with a "Missing options?" message that redirects me to Google help page that just says my browser might be out of date (I'm on most recent Firefox and Windows 10 updates). The quality is still stuck in 360p when I reboot Firefox in Troubleshooting mode, and there are no quality issues when I use a browser like Edge. What should I be checking to resolve the issue?

I have two notebooks with Firefox (NB1 and NB2). NB2 rebooted and Firefox restarted losing all open tabs; now I would like to bring the tabs from NB1 to NB2; both have synchronisation enabled, but when I go to ‘Settings, synchronisation’ on NB2 it says ‘Synchronising in progress’ and nothing happens. I've also tried going to NB1 and sending a tab to NB2; I select NB2 and nothing happens.

This used to work fine. I don't want to mess with userChrome.css to get it to work. It should just work like it used to.

I am developing a django website.

The login on the default admin page is not working when I am testing locally on my mobile. I assume it is because the connection is http (and not https) in order to protect the users (which is a good thing).

I assumed this is the problem, because on chrome, I got also blocked, but I got this hint.

Therefore following 2 stories:

• As a user, I wish I receive a feedback when something is blocked by the browser, so that I understand what is happening.
• As a developer, I wish I could allow login on whitelisted sites (local websites like 192.* ?), so that I can test my website on android without creating self-signed-certificates.

If my assumptions are wrong (but the server did not receive any call), do you know, how I can visualize the network calls on android?

Hello, I did everything mentioned in support articles, but the tabs on firefox are still crashing frequently, sometimes the first I open, sometimes it's the third... But it is making my work really difficult. On several site there's a greyed out box top right, which disables anything it covers, can't be got rid of, and makes using Firefox for these sites impossible. Help, please?? Thank you! (I'm having to use Chrome...)

I set up a custom search extension and am trying to use 'z' as the keyword.

It doesn't work. If I use anything else, it works fine, I just can't use 'z'.

Since I use 'z' in Chrome, I'd like to keep it consistent.

I don't see any other search engines using that keyword.

Is there something I'm missing here? Why can't I seem to use 'z' as a search engine keyword?
