Starting a few weeks ago, my Firefox 62.0.3 on Windows 10 64 bit began to "freeze" intermittently. It seems to happen more often, and for longer, the more I use it (so that restarting it briefly makes things workable). Things I have tried that don't make any difference:
- Uninstalling all add ins and extensions.
- Starting in safe mode.
- Recreating my profile.
- Turning off GPU acceleration.
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the program from scratch.
For now, I've given up and switched to Edge, but I'd really like to go back to FF.
Does anyone have any tips?

So after i reinstalled windows today i noticed my bookmarks are missing. I tried to use restore option but there is only one file in there and its a wrong one. This is the 1st time i didnt export my bookmarks to USB because last 5 times i reinstalled windows all i had to do is to log with my account and bookmarks would be there. But for some reason this time that didnt happen.
I did 2 different things this time i installed windows. I installed new HDD and i had to change my mozzila password when i installed windows cos i forgot old one. I dont think its a new HDD problem because every time i reinstall windows i wiped clean my old HDDs.
Is there anything else i could do? Im not very good with stuff like this so im kinda stuck. I tried searching online for some info but couldnt find a fix.
I even went to www.google.com/bookmarks but old bookmarks are not there. I can only see 2 new bookmarks i added today.

I am using Firefox with group speed dial. I recently switched from Chrome because it would freeze often. Firefox does not freeze, but nearly every request for a new site brings back "Hmm, we are having trouble getting to that site, or something similar. I can refresh from 1 to 5 times, and eventually it comes up and works fine. I love the speed dial, but if it has a problem in Firefox I might have to go back to Chrome, which I really don't want to do.

In the default profile the saved logins got lost. The dialog shows no saved logins. I can visit sites one by one and request a password reset but this is very time consuming and not all sites have this feature.
I tried using the system restore feature in Windows 10 to set the computer back to a date when the passwords weren't lost but this never worked. I am not sure if this technique applies to the Firefox configuration files.
I understand that the logins are saved in the files key4.db and logins.json. I have tried to copy those files from other profiles into my default profile but I didn't get any saved logins back.

Hello, I have followed every single help article provided by Firefox to "enable" shockwave flash. I've restarted browser 3 times, I've restarted computer twice, and I have cleared cache/cookies multiple times. Around 75% of the websites I use on a daily basis do not load a single object that is conected to Flash. It doesn't exist on Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or any web browser that I've tried downloading. Yes, the most current update of adobe flash IS installed on this computer and yes, I have uninstalled and re-installed adobe flash beyond 6 times already. A computer and the internet is useless without the use of the flash plug-in. I can't even access 75% of the internet and it is beyond stupid. Please help me fix this. I don't need a computer if I can't access the internet and I hate using mobile as you can't use banking or anything else on it. It is not user error.

I have found 'backup and restore' where I am presentd with the option to copy raw data to clipboard. How? Where is the clipboard? Why can't I copy it to my portable drive? Am I approaching this in the correct manner? Why whenever I try to search for things like where is my clipboard win 10 do I get Bing this and Bing that? I changed a couple names of my bookmarked pages so that it would shorten the pop-up menus and sub-pop-up menus that appear whenever I hover over different folders of "Bookmarks" I've saved. I'm seeing those changes reflected on the device on which I made them but not on my other computer where I'm also signed in to the same Mozilla account.
Any idea why those changes aren't syncing and being reflected across all my devices? Or... how long do such changes typically take to sync?

For over a week I have been trying to access OneDrive, but every time I get the Secure Connection Failed message. The SSL checker on the firefox help page says the certificate is ok. It only seems to be this web page I am having a problem with, but am at a loss to know why. It is also blocked on my tablet which uses Chrome. Any suggestions?

The problem is I am set to accept cookies. I have tried everything. I'm getting ready to uninstall Firefox and go back to Safari. This issue started occurring after the most recent Firefox update, currently using 62.0.3 (64-bit). Basically if I go to www.vulture.com (a site I visit very frequently) it just loads a blank white page, works fine in Safari, Chrome and on my iPhone 7. Screenshot included. However if I manually type in https:// at the start of the url, the site loads perfectly. Also a screenshot attached of that.
Is there a way to force the site to load only the https:// version of this site to load? I'm not having issues with any other sites. I have loaded in safe mode with extensions disabled and it's made no difference. I cleared my cookies and cache, also made no difference.

There is a ~3px space above tabs on the title bar when I run Firefox maximized (not full screen mode) on my external monitors, meaning if I click at the topmost part of the screen above a tab, the tab is not selected. If I double-click instead, the Firefox window resizes out of maximized view, which indicates the window is indeed maximized and there is not a display problem.
This does not happen on my primary laptop monitor, which is a 2880x1800 display scaled to 150%. The external monitors are both 1920x1080 with 100% scaling; if I change the scaling on the external monitors to 150% to match the primary, the problem goes away. If i change the scaling on the primary monitor to 100% to match the external monitors, the problem remains.
Any suggestions?
