Hi! I recently migrated from Chrome to Firefox and everything is OK except for homepage shortcut icons. They load when I open the sites again but dissappear again after a day or two. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks a lot

Hi, this issue has been present for a long time for me, and with many versions of Firefox Nightly for Android.

I'm always using the latest nightly for browsing Youtube only, with a set of specific settings and addons (since we can't use profiles on Android yet)

My problem is I've configured the Homepage to never show anything but a few URLs I chose to pin, you can see my settings and my homepage in the screenshots attached.

Despite the "Recently visited" setting being disabled, sometimes, but not everytime, the last pages I visited are added to the Homepage, after the pinned sites. I have no idea what triggers it or not, if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.

The "previous page" functionality was fixed with the last update (8/??/24); but a new bug has presented.

If I had a tab with the homepage, if I leave that tab and return to it, the home page with its 16 shortcuts is gone, and all that appears is a blank, grey page-- and nothing is clickable on that blank page. So I have to delete the non-functioning home-page and create a new one.

There was no option to classify this post as a bug report.

Can this be done? I am old and confused. I'm not sure this is possible. When I use me samsung tablet with firefox all the shortcuts are there. They no longer show up on my mac desktop. Is it possible to get online help to manage this?

I suppose I somehow missed an option to set a desktop and/or taskbar shortcut to invoke Firefox. I am currently able to open Firefox only through an HTML document. My usual first access is for my email.

I thought half my apps were gone randomly, then I realized they are all the ones that were web pages Saved to Home Screen, by Firefox! I'm very upset because there's no way I can remember all of them, how can I restore?? Android, no desktop fixes please!

merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. I am using the app on my phone and tablet which are both samsung galaxy phone is A34 5G and the tablet A8 thank you very much

Hello. I have firefox for Ipad. IOS 17.2. The issue I am having is that I would like to save a website shortcut to my home screen like I normally do with Safari. When using Firefox, once I'm on the site I want to "Add to Home Screen," I go to the share menu and this option doesn't appear. Other options such as print..etc do, but not ADD TO HOME SCREEN.

Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

When Adding a Shortcut to the Android Home Screen, it allows you with a pop-up option to Rename the Shortcut before placing it on your Home Screen.

However, when attempting to Install a Progressive Web App (from compatible Web App web sites), and clicking Install, it does NOT give you the opportunity to Rename the Shortcut.

In contrast, Chrome/Android allows the name change in both cases (non-Web App and Web App sites).

Is this feature in the works on FireFox Android?

Is there a work-around to Rename Shortcuts either before or after placing them on the Home Screen ?

Im a regular user of Firefox Mobile and also Firefox PC. I'm missing a very important feature in "Firefox Mobile" is Shortcuts are not Coustomizable i can't order them and also shortcut isn't "Synchronized" with Firefox Account which is really frustrating. Became "Vivaldi" & some other browsers have this features!!! I used firefox like 2years but, If i want these features i have to shift from firefox to other browsers, which i don't want to. So Please Solve my problem and make me mozilian forever.

i have pinned shortcuts on mac. they do not sync with with my android. i cannot change any shortcuts on mobile. when removing them other ones pop up. is there any way so both of the devices have the same shortcuts

I've been reusing android firefox again lately and I noticed I would have a bunch of tabs at a time. Then I realized that it was because whenever I would click a shortcut from the search screen it would open the page in a new tab instead of staying on the current tab. Is there a way to change this?
