I need to change my email address. The old email address is disabled and doesn't work. I have a new email address *email*@gmail.com and can't get a code from the old one which doesn't work anymore. What do I do.

I am having trouble pinning any Extensions to my toolbar. When i click on the Extensions icon (puzzle piece), the Extensions menu immediately pops up. My extension (Bitwarden) is set to "Enabled". When I click on the three horizontal dots, however, the only options are 1) Remove, 2) Report, or 3) Manage. There's no option given to pin the extension.

Because of that, the extension basically never opens, and I am unable to use it. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.

I am running Firefox 129.0.2 (64-bit) in Windows 11 on a Surface tablet. FWIW, the extension is running fine in Chrome.

I have Fire fox 4 and I wish to upgrade to Fire fox 5 or 6 , is this free? and if I do upgrade will I lose my bookmarks ? ....... I want to upgrade ! .... fire fox has improved my computer speed ....alot .........GREAT PRODUCT ...... I've been trying to watch live sports events on SECN+ through my Hulu subscription, but I'm encountering an error message stating, "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." I discovered that Firefox is blocking the stream, while it works perfectly on Chrome. With the college football season and other sports events approaching, I’m concerned that if this issue persists, I may have to stop using Firefox, which I've relied on for over two decades. I've written this back in March of 2024 about Being Managed By Your Organization but after reading all the ones that state "Resolved" I still don't get it! I'm using Win 10 Pro 64 Bit Enterprise and everyday or any time I reboot I have to go into the registry to find Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies and delete Mozilla which the key shows ImportEnterpriseRoots. Now I'm running Avast Premium Security and have dealt with it from what I read about anti virus programs. When it comes to going into C:\Programs\Mozilla\ it doesn't show a folder called Distribution (not sure if that is the correct name but close enough to delete some jason file. I need some plain simply answer to resolve this daily problem.If you need more information please ask since I'm at my whits end dealing with this idiotic injection where even MircoShaft thinks I'm being managed *Some settings are managed by your organization? What organization since I don't have one. Please help a senior at 74 get this resolved.

Firefox is refusing to open sites I am trying to access from links in my protonmail email account. It is giving me a message saying the sites are potential threats. "pdpwbj.clicks.mlsend.com" is what it tells me is the problem.

This is something I do everyday without issue. It isn't limited to one source of emails/websites - it is all of them.

I have cleared cache and history already. Help please as I need to access these websites for my work and having to go to all the individual websites and then to search for the linked content is taking a lot of time I don't normally use because I can just load using the links.

It seems since the latest update to FireFox (129.0) I am no longer able to pick a search engine to use, I can click on DuckDuckGo or any other choice for a search and no search engine will come up?? Thank You for any help or suggestions.

So today I was using firefox for work with multiple tabs open, I try to open a new tab and I get this message " Restart to keep using firefox"

I have updates set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" And the browser was fully updated to the newest update apart from this newest one?

Every time I try to open a new tab I keep getting this message mean I was unable to save my work and lost multiple tabs ?

Can someone explain this ?

Firefox was once the most popular browser in the world, but then Mozilla started releasing updates every week and became disgusting. Now Mozilla has a tiny piece of the market, they have essentially lost almost everything, but they continue to shit with updates like diarrhea, which most users do not need and it's impossible to refuse the annoying, ugly constant reminder about updates. I'm not even talking about the fact that after a refusal to update to a new version, there is a forced update to a new version without permission. So, why doesn't this company learn from its mistakes and become at least a little smarter?

The fucking forced dark mode has return despite the previous fix layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1 in about:config fixing it for years. This and the current replacement fixes don't save. I want a solution for PERMANENT light mode (black text on white background) for ALL menus, pop-ups, dropdown menus and hover over tab info.

And don't tell me to go search for a different theme I've already spent hours doing that and firefox has broken them only making some menus use the appropriate mode. On top of that I can't even pick an option to search for one that uses light mode I just have to go through each one and try it if I want to know which mode it uses that is NOT a solution to anything.

Replacement "fixes" for reference: ui.systemUsesDarkTheme won't even let me set to 0 only has true/false browser.theme.content-theme set to 1 browser.theme.toolbar-theme set to 1 (Why in the absolute hell these were added when a simple addition to preference setting wasn't is beyond me)

Very sorry for the aggressiveness but I am so very VERY tired of having to fight firefox on this preferance for years when their dark mode hurts my eyes.

As a Chinese user, I am very dissatisfied with the inability to use the translation function. I request to add a Chinese option to the Firefox translation package. Thank you!

after creating a new profile, and copying everything in the root directory to the new profile, including search.json.mozlz4, the default search engine setting does not get transferred over and is still set to google

Since the last update (was executed today in my case 16-07-2024), firefox has been very slow and freezing and crashing. Also, somehow it is the only browser that can't handle yahoo finance new charts and keeps freezing....so many issues in a short span of time, please check. I have tried other browsers and things seem to work fine there, so, it is not my computer or OS.

I use doxy me for telehealth. Recently my clients have been having audio issues, hearing their voice echo back when using telehealth. Doxy said it is the Firefox browser. They have had reports from other users of Firefox, that since the most recent update, people have had audio issues with echos when talking. They suggested I not use Firefox as a browser when working with Doxy me. Is there anyway this can be corrected or will I have to switch to Chrome as my go to browser?

'Block Site' merely blocks access to a list of sites, but does not stop them appearing. is there a way to stop websites which use <gob.mx> in the address, which attempt to re-direct to 'mirror' sites that try to steal personal info and generate 'Illegal re-direct' warnings from anti-virus programs from appearing in firefox searches, automatically, rather than having to enter <XXXXXXX, -gob.mx> each time I search ?

This is a recent problem. This did not happen several months ago. I read that this is a preference but cannot find it anywhere. I use video download helper. Cannot find a preference there either. Thank you for helping.
