Dear Sir or Madam,

I am experiencing difficulties setting up one of my email accounts. While I was able to add other accounts without any problems, I would now like to manually add another account, but unfortunately it does not work.

The account in question is kontakt@sockel-profi.de with IONOS. When I try to add this account, the input field turns grey, I cannot click anything, and the process keeps loading endlessly. To try again, I have to close the entire program. If I press ESC, the window closes, but it reopens at the same point without completing the setup.

Could you please assist me in successfully setting up this account?

Thunderbird was unable to find my Yahoo email to enable me to set up TB after Windows 11 took it off my computer. I was given a solution that partially worked and then, I don't know how, some fiddling about of my own got all my emails and everything seemed fine. But when I tried to read an email today, TB said it couldn't find my email address exactly as it had done before.

I have now removed Thunderbird with the hope that someone will be able to tell me how to set it up and find my email address - vervelu@ yahoo.com - so that it stays set up.

I get a pop-up every 5 minutes asking to let Thunderbird access my gmail account. I've never had the gmail account set up in Thunderbird and don't want it there. I hit the Deny button every time, but it never gives up. How can I make this stop? Thank you!

Hi, is there a way to setup access shared e-mail accounts (they appear as unlicensed accounts in office 365 business accounts)? In office365 business accounts, it is possible to setup general mailboxes like sales@ etc. and grant access of said mailbox to user account of choice. OAuth2 login for these accounts does not exist, instead, login occurs via user accounts and then the shared accounts appear for such user, it is not possible to login with or setup shared mailboxes with a password as it is normal (licensed) user accounts. According to Chat-GPT5 it is difficult or impossible, it says login name would be something like licensedusername@company.com\sharedmailbox@company.com, so for example, eric.smith@contoso.com\sales@contoso.com But that doesn't seem to work, like a silly suggestion, outlook.office365.com server then asks for credentials of said eric.smith@contoso.com\sales@contoso.com as if it were a single username! so if you have any info if that is possible, any work-around, pls let me now! I am trying to get away from GMAIL and I already contribute to Mozilla as I use Firefox for all of my browsing. I purchased access to Mailfence thinking I would be able to use start using Thunderbird with it, but but I get an error indicationg that my password or configuration may be wrong when trying to complete "Setup Using Your Existing Email Address".

Trying to add a secondary email, change password, two step verification or basically anything that requires a confirmation code beyond logging in do not work. I keep getting codes in my email, enter in the dialog box, click confirm and...nothing happens. no loading icons or error messages. no indication that anything is happening. dialog box just gets stuck and doesn't do anything.

I had a computer crash and had to reinstall everything on my computer. However, I am unable to add Juno.com to Thunderbird. I receive an authentication error that indicates either the username or password are incorrect. I tried several times without success. I have no problem accessing Juno.com directly on the web with the same username and password I entered in the Thunderbird Auto Hub setup screen.

Prior to the computer crash Juno.com was in my Thunderbird accounts.

Any recommendations?

I have a google account with a non-profit domain I administer. We used to use Microsoft as our email provider, and we switched about two years ago to Google. So, I go to google.com to login to my email address info@MYDOMAIN.org. I am trying to add this account to Thunderbird in Linux Mint. It keeps popping up a Microsoft login window when I input my login credentials. I've spent time looking around at typical Thunderbird problems, but I am stumped. I cannot see how to set this up manually or prevent it from redirecting to a microsoft account login page?

I have deleted the account along with the saved password for the account in question yet I keep getting requests to verify identity and have no way of deleting the account when it appears. My other google accounts are fine but the one that keeps requesting verification is a work account which is no longer used. The message comes from apidata.googleusercontent.com Any help to remove this so the message doesn't keep appearing Roger

Can't find any way to cancel Mozilla VPN. It is not working. Cannot find ANY help to resolve the issue. It hasn't worked in over a year, and it just renewed. Not really wanting to pay for something that is not working, and has not worked for over a year, and there appears to be no real help to remedy this problem. Pretty easy request... I want to cancel, and would like the refund (30 days that you advertise, and be done with Mozilla. Please make my day and cancel this subscription and refund my money.

I recently switched my email DNS / hosting and want to edit the IMAP server / password without deleting/re-adding the account. When I go to my account settings, I don't see any fields for editing the IMAP server and password for an existing email account. Which is irritating. Am I missing something? I guess if you email me, I won't receive it since I have already switched over my email DNS.
