I currently have Thunderbird installed on both my android and desktop (W11). My android inbox does not mirror my desktop. For example, desktop inbox shows many more emails than the android inbox. The ones that are in both are the same. Why doesn't the android inbox mirror the desktop version?

Additionally, I used receive a ton of junk mail when using Edison mail. Now I receive very little. Sounds like a good thing but occasionally one gets flagged as span and it isn't. They continue to show up in the Edison mail spam folder but not in Thunderbird.

I was hoping to drop Edison mail and use Thunderbird exclusively, but I need the confidence before doing so.

How to add custom filters in Thunderbird for Android. In the desktop version, I can add custom filters for each account. This is not possible in the Android version. How can I solve this problem?

I've been using Thunderbird since it was first made available for Android, and I've used it successfully until recently. I have a new Outlook email address that I cannot sign into even though the Outlook email I have been using with Thunderbird since the beginning has never given me any issues. I get the "user authenticated but not connected" error. What can I do to resolve this issue so that I can have all my emails together in one app. Just to make things clear my old Outlook account which uses the email in writing you from connects flawlessly. It's a new one that is giving me issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hello I used to have an alias email from mailbox.org set up in Thunderbird and it operated just like a normal email however this seems to not be working now and I'm wondering if anybody knows how to maket this happen it was so useful.

This issue is both for desktop and Android.

Thunderbird for Android: When sending a message, the copy moved to the Sent folder is not marked as "read" after moving. Messages sent from the Android client and subsequently auto-filed into "Sent" or "Sent Mail" are still marked as "unread" after the move. They should be marked as "read" as part of the move, just like with the Windows client. I've searched the various Settings and I can't find any related setting.

Tbird (v16. 1) for android installed on my Pixel 9a connected to my gmail account. Gmail client runs perfectly connected to same account while Tbird starts with a blank screen i.e no messages. App appears to be frozen but later displays messages. General operation seems sluggish - enough to turn me back to the Gmail client (which I don't like) but at least I can navigate my email without waiting. Any suggestions please?

Emails with a "To: undisclosed-recipients:;" header show no recipient information in the app, just as if there was no "To" header. Wouldn’t it be useful to display something to distinguish the two use-casesA?

Is it possible to make Thunderbird make better use of screen realestate on large devices such as tablets?

In my opinion it should be possible to get a view that is more similar to the desktop version, where the content is laid out in 3 columns:

1. List of accounts and mailboxes
2. List of messages in the selected folder/mailbox
3. The email/message that has been selected.

See attached for what it looks like in the gmail app, for comparison. On Gmail they only have two columns, but even on there it's making effective use of the space.

1) There is a layout problem in the accounts display on the left hand side, where the email addresses are sometimes obscured by the titles of the pages (see screenshot). 2) Also, is it possible to adjust the labels of so that they reflect the initials of two-word titles? So Websites Wanted would be WW, not WE, and Prague Story PS, not PR? Or even upload avatars instead of lettered labels? Thanks!
