I have transferred TB from a win7 to a win10 computer. I had to manually edit the profile.ini file, it mainly installed on C: drive, I needed D: drive. TB works, I can send/receive emails. However I have 2 Inboxes, both being updated using POP account. I only want one global inbox. I suspect the changes I made to the profile.inio file are wrong. Anyone know what I have done wrong? I posted a question this morning and got a reply which I read using gmail but could not reply to it and I cannot find were I posted the question or the reply from christ 1 I have copied and pasted my reply below

I put in my Plus net Password and press enter and then it takes me to the next screen see Capture 1 I then put in my Google Internet Password and then press enter and it then takes me to Capture 2 and then I am completely lost I have used Thunderbird in my Spain Apartment and also at home in England for several years and it has never taken me to Google and never come up with another Language Fortunately I have logged into Google Mail and managed to add my Plusnet EMail to this otherwise I would not be able to read your reply without logging into a very Basic Plusnet Webmail

It is the first time I have ever used Google Mail it is not bad but I prefer Thunderbird if I can get it working again

Hello, I have downloaded Firefox installer but I couldn't install it. It's giving issue that you need to start over but when i start over again it gives the same issue. I have some pending work to do on my blog so I nee to install it ASAP. How can i fix it? Please help me. Thanks

I am working with Thunderbird 102.8.0 on Linux Mint 21.1 Vera base: Ubuntu 22.04 jammy.

Maybe you don't need all that - I'm brand new to all this and don't know much at all! I don't understand, for ex. why it doesn't say "Cinnamon" up there, since that's what I'm using for Linux Mint, but anyway...

I use Protonmail, and have finally gotten the protonmail bridge to work with Thunderbird. I have exported my contacts from Protonmail's webmail as a vCard. I saved the card in my downloads folder and I have opened the document to make sure it isn't blank - it looks like everything is there.

When I go through the import steps in Thunderbird, though, nothing imports. I have tried several times, shut down TB, opened it again - nothing there.

1. I am customer of Ionos, formerly 1&1, who host my email address.

2. Ionos have advised me I will be unable to download emails from their server after 25 April unless the email program supports TLS1.2 or higher and they said Thunderbird version 52.00 supported TLS1.2 or higher.

3. I have 2 PCs with Windows XP SP3 and 1 laptop with Windows Vista. Ionos say the only email program I will be able to use after 25 April using the latter 3 devices to download emails from their server is Thunderbird version 52.00.

4. Is there now any means by which one may install Thunderbird version 52.00 onto a PC with Windows XP SP3 or, alternatively, a laptop with Windows Vista?

See picture below. If I try to open up more than one tab, I get multiple home pages.

Is there an adjustment I can make to stop this?
