Thunderbird has lost its contact with Swedish Tele2 mailservice, a Contact I have had for years under my two alternate addresses: thomas.bibin@tele2.se and thomas.bibin@swipnet.se which are the same.

I Think a virus/malware rupted the contact, which means that I cannot receive any mails from Tele2, and I cannot send any mails from my Thunderbird via Tele2 to any receiver.

How can I restore the contact between Thunderbird and Tele2?

I have been in contact with Tele2 twice, and they say that nothing is wrong with my mail handling there, after checking their system and my account there.

Hi Thomas,

  • Did you verify your Thunderbird settings with the Tele2 help page for Thunderbird?
  • If so, do you get any error messages?
  • Have you tried this with your security software disabled?
