Sync iOS device over Foxbrowser
I set up Sync on my PC a few weeks ago in preparation for purchasing an iPad. I now have it.
I have just installed Foxbrowser and I am putting the code it gives me when I 'Paira Device'. The app just has a message saying it 'Cannot Setup Sync' pop up. I've been searching and I cannot find any results on this specific problem. The device shows that it cannot setu[ after I enter the code into FF on my PC, so it has some sort of connection.
I have seen a mention of sign in to sync. I don't have that option, just Tools>Setup Sync. I guess I would explain it that I have set the browser to look like its older version.

Looks like you're using FoxBrowser for Firefox Sync..
I've got no experience with iOS and most likely you would have to contact the developer about that since we only provide support for official Mozilla products. From the Github page, it seems it's a fork into Firefox Home which also lists that page as the support page from the main page above
You really would be better off asking the developer

Will do. This is the closest to FF browser on iOS I've seen and it seems to work the same as Chrome iOS in 'computer <-> device' features.

Well, I did some more looking and a tip was to delete the sync account and start again.
Did that and not Tools> Setup is now 'Sync Now. Clicking it down nothing.
So now its a FF issue

I don't think we can help much, I can't, at least. I've flagged this thread for the professional full time SUMO HelpDesk to see if they can see what's up. AFAIK FoxBrowser (never heard of it) or any other 3rd party application that uses Sync will work besides the official Firefox application. Mozilla didn't release Firefox for iOS for a reason. Apple's sucky restrictions.
Keep in mind, that the forum will be super busy tomorrow as it's the release of Firefox 29 and it'll be really packed with questions so I apologize in advance for the delay in our responses.

Thanks and no prob. Weird how now I can't even setup sync now. I have closed and reopened FF, no change.
For future reference on this thread, can you explain exactly what's happening?
I installed Foxbrowser on my iPad and it gave me a 3-line code for the sync. On my PC FF>Tools>Setup Sync. The Foxbrowser app on the sync would note that it was unable to sync as soon as I entered the code into FF on my PC it provided for the sync.
I deleted my sync account and remade it with the same email address. It installed properly. However now Tools>Sync Now is the only option and clicking it doesn't seem to do anything.
Correction. As soon as I entered the code the app provided to sync.
Seems the device can communicate with input from my PC but there is the problem.
