bought new tower w/WIN 8.1 and changed ISP and e-mail provider...changed from slow land line to Dish sattelite using aol.com. Haven't been able to use TB since. I have no problem accessing e-mail via aol.com but I'd rather continue with TB. Problem has persisted for two months now!

Yes...I set up TB for AOL but obviously it was incorrect. Once I deleted all accounts from TB and re-entered info using the first link you provided the set up worked fine. Nomenclature on "buttons" was slightly different but no problem.
