Solved it for me though - - same as above :
a) deinstall everything,
b) delete tempfiles, %AppData% Files, "Mozilla Firefox" directories
c) Install 23.b01 and start firefox
d) Help -> About -> "Klick here to update" -> Restart - FF30.b runs fine

thanks, but no. I am operating in an enterprise environment with standardized windows images and a global security infrastructure.

Firefox 24.0 runs fine everywhere,
On my coworkers 2months old image, FireFox28 Standard works fine as well.
Firefox 27b9 + autoupdate t029b worked on my old one laptop as well, all "Standardversions (28 + 29)" wont.

On my new laptop with fresh win7 image, nothing after FF24 runs currently.
