I haven't done anything to my system. I always clear the cache. I've ran antivirus/malware and nothing was found. I tried Chrome and it runs fine.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Disable some of those addons and see if that helps.

You may want to try not running many adblockers at one time as they may be conflicting with each other.

You should disable BetterPrivacy or Adblock Plus as they mostly do the same thing and may run up CPU percentages.

I'm also receiving the "Firefox is not responding" message a lot.

If you want to start off clean, you can reset firefox. After the reset, your bookmarks and history will be kept, but Addons and custom preferences (custom toolbar, button configuration, privacy settings, homepage url) will be gone.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you. I will remove BetterPrivacy. I'm not sure why I even have that. I'll start with removing that extension and see if that helps. If not, I'll just Reset Firefox.

So far removing the extension has helped.
