Hi!

I don't believe that this is possible for Firefox OS at this moment. I will however forward this to the correct people who can tell you more.

Thanks and we appreciate your patience.

HI rolando1,

Thank you for your question, and sorry for the late response. At the moment the update to the next version is not being taken by carriers, however there are plans for version 1.3. Currently, the network features that come with the phone only allow you to connect directly to an open network or a network with a password. This includes WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA-EAP.

Currently these are the Road Map Features for the Firefox builds:https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/Roadmap

There are some bugs I found with this request as well : [Bug 973872] [Bug 909498] Please Keep in mind of the Bug Etiquette, and we will do our best to bring feedback, I will bring it up at the next meeting.

It also looks like after some digging that this is dependent on the web apis.

There is a proxy setting for the Mobile Data (settings -> cellular data -> data settings ) , however fiddling with that could affect the data that you get through your SIM. ie possibly not at all.

Also to note, if you do go through a proxy server, I recommend that you do not go to any password sites as the proxy would capture what you send to the proxy.

In terms of wifi proxy service to the browser app... unfortunately there is no setting for that at this time.
