hello SMRobbins, please press the windows-key+R and open: %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\
in there you should find a file named profiles.ini - please rename that to something like oldprofiles.ini and try to restart firefox again.

all of my bookmarks etc are gone. :( i am so very upset.
