hello if your programs are up to date and your system configuration is supporting the latest versions then its not a problem ... try to install older version of it.

Sorry should have said plugin crashes,I reloaded as it wouldn't allow older version to load,should have searched for stand alone download.

Firefox crashes for no rhyme or reason for several seconds or more when loading pages as it is ok and sometimes not and doesn't matter which site as there is no consistency.

What do you mean, "Firefox crashes"? What exactly happens? See the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article to troubleshoot Firefox crashes.

In any case, recent Firefox crash report IDs might help with both Firefox crashes and plugin crashes.

1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and paste them into your response here.

I had the same problem and my solution worked for me, uninstall Mozilla and flash player then reinstall flash player and Mozilla, hope it works for you too :)

Only four of those crash reports are available for review but two of them refer to a crash in plugin IE Tab Plug-in Version:2.2.0.1 Filename:npietab2.dll

Open the Firefox Add-ons manager (see Disable or remove Add-ons for details) and

1. Open the Plugins list, select your IETab2 plugin and set it to Never Activate
2. Go to the Add-ons Extensions list and disable your IETab2 extension
3. Restart Firefox.

Note: Disregard the above. Those two crash reports are OLD, from July 2013. See my next answer.

P.S The most recent crash report from 12/17/2013 had to do with

plugin Shockwave Flash Version:11.9.900.170
Filename:NPSWF32_11_9_900_170.dll

The IETab2 related crashes were both old, from Firefox 22 in July 2013.

I removed and reinstalled firefox and flash again.,seems to work faster ,but I have a hard time navigating in safe mode to try and recreate problem . Seems problem in ebay search page going back and forth and Mozilla help pages do not scroll smoothly.I could not get the flash directive to disable hardware acceleration to work as clicking on check mark and close button did not work.

Don't pay attention to scrolling problem as that was do to deactivating IE tab extension.

1. Right-click on the Flash logo on this Adobe help page).
2. Click "Settings" and uncheck “Enable hardware acceleration" in the Display tab.

On Windows, you can also disable hardware acceleration by adding the line DisableHardwareAcceleration=1 to the Flash "mms.cfg" file, as suggested in this Adobe forum thread. The mms.cfg file is located here:

(Windows 32bit) <tt>C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash</tt>

(Windows 64bit) <tt>C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash</tt>

If you have problems editing the mms.cfg file, you may need to copy the file "mms.cfg" to the desktop or your Documents folder to edit the file (in Notepad) to add the line, then go back into the Flash folder and rename the existing mms.cfg file to mms.cfgBAK before moving the edited version in there.

Tried and that shortcut posting did not work ,it seems to slow and stop on certain sites ,but some only at times and it freezes my whole computer screen at the same time and at times. Doing search and no one seems to have clue ,am running windows 7-64.

Have you tried disabling protected mode in Flash?
