Google sites tell me that cookies are not being saved on my computer, and other sites that should remember me are not. I do see some cookies stored on my computer.

Do you have any extensions installed to remove cookies automatically?

Ensure that the Remember History setting is set in Options > Privacy > History.

Please report back as soon as you can.

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
