Dashlane 2.1.2 is incompatible w/ FF v23.0; I don't want to loose "stuff" by deleting v23.0 and doing a fresh install of the non-beta version. what to do, what to do?

All variants (Beta, Release, UX, Nightly, Aurora) use the same Firefox profile. When uninstalling beta make sure not to check to remove customizations etc or you will not have a profile (well the one you had).

if you want to play safe and take extra precautions backup your profile that is where settings are saved. n any event it is good practice to back that up occasionally

  • Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles
  • Do NOT use any option that removes personal information or you will be likely to destroy bookmarks and passwords etc.
    • You may well getaway with installing the Release over the top of the Beta without even uninstalling it first.

I note the add-on has a support forum and release notes. I found a release note mentioning Firefox20 compatibility, but also a post about Firefox 22 problems.

It is probably worth contacting the add on support site and asking about Firefox 23 and Firefox 22 compatibility.
