I made a picture in Hugin (a panorama picture maker). OS is Linux. jpeginfo says the picture is ok. Firefox won't display it (and neither will eog (eye of gnome)). Should I make a bug?

I've shared the picture via google docs if you want to test it. (It's a landscape of Cordova bay in Saanich, B.C., Canada.) The link is https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5FXtHrNOWfPSU9XcjgxclhLeDA/edit?usp=sharing

$ jpeginfo -c ~/Pictures/CordovaBayforStitch/testjpg.jpg

/home/chris/Pictures/CordovaBayforStitch/testjpg.jpg 4947 x 1038 24bit Exif N 3917312 [OK]

Its not firefox problem.

The link which you provides is not previewing the image in chrome or safari

I see that the page that googledocs displays for the link says "no preview available". But that may be because it is a large file and has unusual dimensions (panoramic), and so not suitable for the program googledocs uses to create previews. Alternatively, Google's preview function could be failing for reasons similar to firefox's problem with displaying the image.

But, did try to the open the file itself?

Thanks for looking into my question.

The file in question does display in gnome's epiphany browser.
