When will Firefox fix the problem of yahoo videos not working? Tired of hearing same solutions from people that don't work (safe mode, update, etc.) Fix Issue!

For any videos hosted on yahoo.com and that aren't youtube, they just sit on the black screen with the blue circle cycling through. They never play and this has been an issue for months. Google this problem and you will see how many people have the issue and that no one give an actual fix to the issue. I would think that someone could actually fix this bug at some point but nothing has been done

Did you not read my question??? This is no different than any other answer that has been provided to this question that has come up a ton. Google it before responding and you will see what I am talking about. EVERYTHING IS UPDATED, that is why I said "Tired of hearing same solutions from people that don't work (safe mode, update, etc.)"

I understand you're frustrated but we need to go through basic troubleshooting with every user because every user has a different computer and specifications. We need to try to figure to out what is causing it,, we can't just FIX IT if we don't know what is causing it. If you would like to cooperate with us to resolve this issue and try the basic troubleshooting first of sell please respond back. thank you.

It's frustrating because you were asking me to do something that I have already done, as I stated in my question. The updates have been done and everything is updated. I have cleared out all my history, cookies, etc. I have launched in safe mode, it's not about hardware acceleration. Just like others have said when you look up this question IE works just fine when playing the videos but not firefox for some reason. It has not always been this way, firefox used to play them just fine but this has been going on for a while now so I am curious as to what changed with firefox to bring on this problem

Couple of things: It looks like you are still on Firefox 21, please update to Firefox 22 Update Firefox to the latest release.

Also, a new version of Flash was released in the last few days, can you make sure you are running Flash 11.8?

Nope just checked my firefox and it is version 22 and Flash is already updated to 11.8. Still no yahoo videos

Again, everything has been updated that can be updated. That is why I said it at the beginning. I do automatic updates for firefox so when they come out I get them. Pretty simple to check as well by clicking about firefox and it says the version I have. This has been a problem on several updated versions of Firefox
