Above error messa4bite occurs whenever I star Firefox without admin priv. Checked the profile directory listed in troubleshoot info -- has r/w access for system, admin and self Tried renaming cert8 and secmod as suggested in one forum response. Problem persists.\ My computer runs Win 7 Home Premium 64bit

If deleting or otherwise removing the cert8.db and secmod.db file doesn't help then try a new profile.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
