For quite some time, maybe 6 months, visiting certain webpages with JavaScript enabled leads my Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 to a block. I have to hard reset the PC. With JavaScript disabled everything works fine (though functionality is missing). Since my O.S. is blocked Mozilla Crash Reporter cannot be used to report this bug. I think, that it only happens on webpages that contain 'external' video like: carscoop.blogspot.com/2013/01/taxi-driver-shows-us-how-to-impress.html but NOT on YouTube.

hello, maybe it's an issue with the protected mode in the flash plugin - you could try if downgrading to flash 10.3 (which is still supported) or disabling protected mode makes a difference.

Downgrading to flash 10.3, as suggested, partially fixes the problem. Now, the O.S. freezes for a minute ore two, but after that is fully functional.
